Did you know?
Did you know...... that on December 10 is Tree Sitting Day? In 1997, Julia "Butterfly" Hill climbed a a thousand-year-old redwood and continued to live in the tree for more than two years. She came down on December 18, 1999, only after concluding a deal with Pacific Lumber to save the tree and a three-acre buffer zone.
