Did you know... ... that on January 08, 2010 is Monaco Founding Day? In 1297, the Principality of Monaco was founded by Francois Grimaldi when he took control of the Monaco fortress after disguising himself as a monk and letting his own forces into the fortress. The Grimaldi family still rules the country.
