... that on March 02 is the birthday of Silly Putty? Silly Putty, that wonderful pinkish substance that bounces like rubber and stretches like taffy, was introduced to the public on this date in 1950. Trivia buffs: Silly Putty can be used to pick up dirt, lint, and pet hair and is used in large quantity by physical therapists for rehabilitative therapy of hand injuries.
