'our' room
Our room is always a mess! It's like a hurricane would pass by every morning and when I get home from work, surprise surprise! Dirty clothes on the chair, messy bed, toys on the floor and wet towels. We plan to have a general cleaning before the year ends, so I already bought an austin air healthmate jr purifier, perfect when bedroom is clean. But it would be really awesome if I can get to see our room squeaky clean everyday

TGIF
It's TGIF indeed! Because the 3-day band equipment rental turned out great! And Thank God alright because we have 2 more days next week. I remembered I mentioned from my previous post that 'it's gonna be brutally hectic' and I WAS RIGHT. Hubby and I were the ones who were beat up! And as for me, no sleep! Arrgh! I just kept in mind that we can do it and we did. Two more days!

Wrap it up
I'm currently wrapping gifts for the nearing family reunion this coming Dec.25. I have so many gifts to wrap because it has been a tradition to give everybody 'something' plus our exchange gifts. I haven't bought exchange gift to the kiddo and I'm thinking of getting plastic bins for storage. I know their moms would love it hahaha. Anyway, this is just a commercial break. Back to wrapping!

Christmas gift
Last week we went to Abad Santos to check bed frames and sofa beds. We went to this shop and got ourselves a good deal. Original price in the mall for an all-wood queen size bed frame is around 14k or more. But there, it's only 6-7k. Same wood, same quality, same everything. So since it's cheap, our budget allowed us to get a sofa bed for the kiddo. I told the hubby and the kiddo that it's gonna be their Christmas and they happily agreed. So come Sunday, our furniture arrived. We had the whole day cleaning and re-arranging stuff in the bed room and finally---our room looks a hotel room! hahaha! All we need now it some bolster pillows for my side of the bed and for the kiddo. So probably if I have extra, I'll buy 2 bolsters and give it to them so we'll have something open on Christmas day!

Band equipment rental
Just received a phone call from a x-officemate who is now managing a events place in Ortigas. He badly needs a band equipment. I instantly agreed on the 3-day rental starting on this Tuesday. We are now preparing and hopefully everything would turn out smoothly. Ayokong mapahiya. And good thing, I'm on morning shift too. Something tells me this is gonna be brutally hectic.

Birthday
I just noticed that the kiddo's birthday is just 7 weeks away. Panic started to creep down my spine, because it's that time of the year again when we host another party. And it's not just 'another' party because it's gonna be her 7th birthday. As we all know (traditionally), 7th and 18th birthdays are the grandest.
We tried to canvas, weigh our options, and check the budget. First we settle at the Village's Clubhouse but it was costly. Second, we tried at Shakey's but all their dates are full for that month. Third, Don Henrico's but it's also expensive. So we tried our luck at KFC (near our home) and got the date! Kiddo also agreed to change the theme because they only allow what's in the package. And so Angelina Ballerina it is! I am now checking for ballet birthday ideas online and got some pretty awesome list already. Now we can't wait to shop!
