Rockit Ranch Production rocks!
I love charity works. I read most of them on Reader's digest and these stories always move me to tears. Then I saw this funny video of this guy, Billy Dec from Chicago and found out he's planning to have a charity work to feed the hungry. World is still a happy place to live in, knowing there's still a lot of people who still wants to help and make a difference. Plus, he's half Filipino hahaha. Anyway, here's the video.... Donuts for breakfast
We had Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast! Talk about eating healthy. Got out of the office this morning and asked the hubby if we can drop by the nearby store for donuts. Good thing, Dunkin' donuts main office is near our work place so I'm always sure they serve fresh batches. And it's so fresh that I waited a few minutes for the others flavors to come out of the kitchen. Anyway, we were NOT suppose to eat it right away. We were just trying to surprise the little angel, when me and the hubby took several bites as well. Love donuts! Now we can't sleep because of sugar rush and it's still early!

Friends online
I can't count how many times I search for someone on the Internet. I'm still trying to find my other high school batch mates and it seems some of them don't have any registered name on social networks like friendster or facebook that in the end, I end up on free online dating sites instead. Anyway, we have an upcoming high school reunion late this year and we are all trying to contact everybody, so all can attend the said event. It's a mega reunion party and we're doing everything to make this event a success.

Weekend
Training went well this week. Had a couple of sleepy days but it's all good. The week passed by fast and it's already weekend. We plan to go to Bulacan later with the kiddo to visit her lolo daddy. And maybe if we can go back early, we can catch a nice dinner with the zitros. Tomorrow's gonna be a free day for us. Hubby's gonna go biking with his cousin Art and probably be back at lunch time. I hope we can catch a movie with the zitros again tomorrow because I owe the kiddo a movie ticket. And tomorrow night we'll attend a friend's birthday at night. Wow. Weekend--please don't go so soon.

Joey celebrated his birthday (2009) at his aunt's house but last year (2010) he went home in Davao at the night of Christmas day that's why no celeb =( But we're looking forward to another partee (inuman) when he comes back.

on Training ...
It's my second week at work and I'm still on training. Still enjoying the 'petiks' time and I'm hoping it'll last for 2 months more hahaha... But grasping new information and process is making me think again. Do I really want this? Hayst. I know I do because I need it but deep in my heart, I want to do something else. Cooking and Music. Maybe I'll get lucky someday...

Badly need it
It's been awhile since my last serious exercise and I'm feeling frustrated again because even if I pretend that I'm not gaining weight, I do! I have pictures taken the other day and frankly, I'm very disappointed with myself. I'm having this feeling again--- 'what do now? and 'How can I start again?' and I hate it... Argh! Starting over is very hard to do. Now that summer is fast approaching, plus, we have a family wedding to attend to, I need to eliminate the gained weight AND loose some more! But how can I do it in 3 months shorts? I badly need the best weight loss pills for now!

Happy Birthday!
We had a nice Sunday Lunch today. Lanna's birthday is tomorrow but we decided to have a little get-together today. Our humble food became a glorious feast, thanks to everybody who contributed. Great looking skin
I really can't say that I'm an expert on this things and I too have the same problem all my teenage years but my 'how to get rid of acne fast' list is based on experience. I cannot also say that the things on my list will with everybody because it really depends on yourself and your lifestyle. But everything is just basic so here goes... ~ get more SLEEP. The body and the skin needs to rejuvenate. ~ keep it CLEAN. I'm just don't like it when I sleep without wasting my face. ~ eat HEALTHY. Sometimes it really boils down on what you put in your body so try to think on turning your way to healthy foods. ~ seek professional HELP. It really helps to visit your dermatologist once in a while and have that refreshing facial. Sometimes it prevent acne to build. Just keep it simple and basic, and your headed to a great looking skin.

Menu
I asked the hubby where are we gonna celebrate the kiddo's birthday this Sunday. Her exact birthday is on January 17 (Monday) and I plan to bring in school for her classmates and teachers. So that's already been taken care of. We plan to spend this Sunday with our families. Hubby decided to held the celebration here at home. Nothing special. I'll just cook food and hopefully (his) family will come and join us. I doubt (haha) but let's see. Zitros will surely come (I hope). So what's cooking? I'll probably cook pancit for the neighbors (it's cheaper), spag and lasagna, siomai, fried chicken, fruit salad and bonaffe pie. I'm thinking of mixed veggies and patatim or caldereta. Hmm.. I'd better finalize my menu because Sunday is fast approaching.

Home style cooking
I admit it. Holiday food made me gained a lot of weight. Who can resist a good meal right? And since we were busy at work and parties to attend, we have to take out food in between which made us fatter. But home style cooking is still the best for me. Texture and the taste is way better than those commercial food. I'm glad I had the time to make some treats and I hope to make some more when I get the oven. I want to bake badly.

Muffin top
I stayed at home for a week and it did not do any good but worse! I think I gained more than I used to. I cannot really monitor the total pounds that I gained because I cannot find the weighing scales that we have, but I know I did gained some. It's very easy to determine really. How? Clothes do not fit anymore tsk tsk tsk. There's this one top that I really love. I use to wear it during my jogging days in Bulacan but now I can't! My tummy--or muffin top as I say it is way way bigger than ever. Grrr! Made more frustrated. I hope to loose this by March because we have a wedding to attend to in April. Goodluck to me.

Facial
I can't remember when was the last time I visited the salon for a good facial. I think almost a year, or more than a year already. I definitely can't say that I don't need a facial because I think everybody needs it once in awhile, and in my case, I badly need one. According to the article I read about acne treatment reviews, we need to take care of our skin especially the face. It's that one part of the body that represents ourselves. It will be awesome if I can have time at the salon for facial because the blackheads on my nose are screaming already! Oh men....

We're out today!
Oh by the way.... I'm out at last! Kiddo and I are here in Trinoma. She's in the playground and I'm here at Coffee bean waiting for mom and dad to arrive. It's funny because we went to MAC center earlier and we checked out some gadgets there and wow! the kiddo really knows to operate the iPad. Kids today are very attached to high-tech gadgets. Maybe we can buy an iPad instead of another laptop. Hubby and the kiddo can really use it. I'm still good with my lappy.... but I want an iTouch 4th gen. Oh my birthday's coming up.... ssshhh.

Yesterday...
I said I was going out yesterday but I didn't. I decided to waited another day, so I lounge around the apartment--watched TV and do nothing. I did not feel like watching a movie but I did. I tried to 'Veronika decides to die' when one of the neighbor came and asked if she can talked to me privately. Uh oh! I was right. Nangungutang. Oh men. I'm not good at this. Anyway, I listened to her story and told her that I'll ask hubby if he has an extra when he gets home. I immediately texted the hubby after she left. Minutes later after the hubby arrived from work, the neighbor was there again. They both talked outside while I attend to the kiddo. I hate moments like this. Good thing the hubby can handle it--he's smart when it comes to interactions like this. Anyway, as much as I want to help everybody, I think we need to help ourselves first. I don't want to be rude but we already did our budget for the month. Oh well. We cannot please everybody.

BUM
I'm a BUM. Yup! You read it right. Our last day of work was last Dec. 30, 2010, but I'm still employed to the same company. I just don't have any account to report to. Anyway, I got in from one of the account on the same building and training starts next week. I thought I could some this time off for relaxing but I'm kinda bored. Second day of doing nothing was pretty much peaceful but on the 4th day, it's boring already! I plan to go out today but I don't know where to go. I don't want to waste my time watching television or wait for something interesting on facebook... Anyway, I'm not even sure I'm not blogging for the last 3 days (well now I am).
Being a BUM is not my thing. Band is on vacation break, so I guess I'm on my own for another day or two...
Okay I'm going out today and get my free starbucks coffee! Did I mention I won a tall drink? hahaha! Lucky me. I hope luck will stay with me from now on.

New Year Get-Away! {01.01.11}
Me and the hubby wants something NEW this year. So we decided to have a little New Year Get-away of our own. Away from the busy and noisy city of Manila. We decided to spend the New Year in Tagaytay. Unfortunately, we can't tag along the toy dogs (nini and shishi), so we just spend the New Year here in the apartment. We didn't bought any fireworks of any kind or not even prepared a barangay feast. We just waited for the clock to strike 12, enjoyed the fireworks view from our apartment and ate a simple pasta dish with fruits on the side.
So early morning of Janaury 1, we took off and head to Tagaytay. No traffic. Everybody seemed to have party-ed the night away because the streets are all empty. Just 1.5 hours and we're in Tagaytay already.
So here's how we spend the time together--just the 3 of us. {01.01.2011}
~ Our lady of Lourdes mass @ 7-8AM ~
~ Mcdo breakfast @ 8:30AM ~ 
~ Road trip to the Castle @ 9:30AM ~
~ Lanna's Horseback Riding @ 10:30AM ~
~ Lunch at Rowena's @ 12NN ~
~ Filitico check-in @ 1PM ~It's siesta time til 5PM for us once we hit the sack. And it seems that the zitros can read our minds because we meet them and had dinner @ 8PM. It's suppose to be our trip but they wanna to go Tagaytay too. Good thing, the next room was still available and I booked them there also in Filitico.
We were back in Filitico @ 10:30PM, cuddle with the little ones and changed into their pajamas. Lights out @ 11:30PM. More pictures *here*
