Weekend Snapshot

Winnie's here!
Then came Saturday. I was already ready when the hubby came home. We stopped by at SM and bought Red Ribbon cake. I send a text message to Cynch that we're almost there. She called back and said that they are going to be a little late but we could go in and wait inside the house. So we watched Superman on HBO while we waited and the little angel was already feeling at home. Moments later they arrived. We saw Winter first and Princess--Winnie's sister. Then went Winnie appeared at door and she was shouting... Oh ano?! hahaha Then I shouted too LOL. We hugged and was speechless for a few moments LOL. Malamang hindi alam sasabihin.
We talked, greeted and played with our kids then ate dinner. Our high school friends staring coming and before I knew it, every body's having fun. We let the kids stay upstairs in the bedroom while grown ups talk downstairs. Drinks were served. I like the jiggers and the vodka! Promise ang sarap! Winnie and I had a few moments to talk and she said they have a family emergency that's why they're here now and it's also a perfect time to see us. She'll be staying here for 8 days so we plan to go out before they leave this weekend.

~ Princess. ~Time was indeed so fast when you're having fun because it was already late, as in super late. That explains why the little angel was having tantrums. Hubby can sense that I don't want to leave yet but we had no choice because the little angel doesn't want to sleep and kept saying "Go home please... go home please."
Some friends were not able to make it but if they were there, kulang pa siguro ang isang gabi LOL. I'm very grateful to see a friend that I missed for so many years. More pictures *here*

Full packed weekend
Then tomorrow we'll go to another first birthday in LP. I'm sure the little angel will have lots of fun again. Weekend is just so short! I hope they made weekends longer... like 3 or 4 days perhaps? Although we'll get long weekend this time, but my work does not permits me. And speaking of work, I hope I'll get picked to do the project in the office or I'll get a chance to be with another department? We'll see. I'm praying... Enjoy your weekend everyone!

My yesterday and today...

1. Amandine's 4th Birthday. (Little Angel's cousin).
2. We had Conti's lunch at my sister's residence in LP. Yummy
3. Little angel and her cousin played toys all afternoon. I should have taken pictures of Amandine's toys. Believe me.. ang dami dami talga! wahhh.
4. I didn't watch the Beijing Olympics. I was busy taking care of the little kiddo.
5. Little angel rode a (mini) ferris wheel for the first time and she was not afraid. (Pixie forest)
6. I was awake for more than 24 hours! Been awake Friday afternoon (from office), whole day Saturday and then we got home 12 mid night.

TGIF @ 08.08.08
~ Thank you MIL. ~The weather seemed to be fine because we have no rains anymore. So that's good. And the little angel is eating more nowadays. Her yaya (nanny) is doing a great job too. Thank God. I hope it'll last a year or more this time.
And today is 08.08.08! Some says it's lucky because of the number 8. My officemate got married this morning. 08.08.08 @ 8AM. Sinulit ang swerte. I don't know how to attract lucky vibrations and all that stuff. All I know is that I'm already lucky to have my little angel with me.
Let's be happy and stay happy because it's Friday @ 08.08.08!

1. I can watch TV/movies all day. I can be a couch potato at times. As in super lazy sometimes.
2. I love pizza and pasta. Pizza hut, Shakey's, California Pizza Kitchen, Don Henrico's, Chef de Angelo, Yellow Cab, Sbarro, Amici... get the picture?
3. I can stay awake for more the 24 hours. Sometimes I feel, I'm not sleeping anymore. Maybe that's one cause of acne breakouts.
4. I do NOT like raw foods like Sushi. My stomach goes up side down whenever I try to eat them but I just can't.
5. I always forget something. Especially when packing stuff, or going to the grocery. I tend to forget one item even though I made a list days before.
6. I love rare and hard to find boots. I already have 3 pairs from ukay-ukay and the hunt is still on-going.

Little angel's favorite toy is not actually a toy but a dvd movie. Since she's crazy on watching movies nowadays, I bought several Disney dvds for her to watch and she loved it. But the most watched movie of all is 'The Little Mermaid'. She's crazy about it. She can name the characters, tell you her favorite scenes and she even laughs when the seagull talks about the 'dinggle hopper' to Ariel LOL.

TGIF
Here's a reason to be Thankful though.
The two house help left Thursday morning and their replacement arrived the same day. She's our house help to the rescue. Good thing about it is that, she's the sister of my mom's house help that's why the little angel knows her already. She manages to finish all the chores before lunch time and is able to attend the little angel's needs too. I hope she'll stay with us in a year or two.
I also bought two additional Disney movie to add up to our collection. I'm so fed up with Little Mermaid and Toy Story, but the little angel loves it! And late this afternoon we watched one of her new movie, A bug's life. Yeah, we've watched it twice already! Tomorrow's going to be Lilo and Stitch.
My sister called early this evening and told me that she'll be buying the dslr cam that I recommended. Am still yet to confirm if she already got it or not but oh my... everybody seem to have one nowadays waaaahhh! Now I'm beginning to think to getting one myself.... No! No! No! Erase! Erase! It's too expensive. Hiram muna! hahaha LOL.
