Love and Romance

I'm in love. I'm in love with my husband and baby daughter. They are my source of strength and inspiration in my everyday life. I miss you. I believe unconditional love makes a person young inside and out. That's why my husband's romantic moves never fails. He always appreciates everything I do for our family and in return, he's made sure that I feel pampered, blessed and loved. Being in love is a blessing. That's why I can't keep my eyes off to some romantic movies. I always adore romantic stories. Then I can across a romantic site that I find very romantic. The site has romantic poems and poetry which is very useful during anniversaries and valentine's day. What I really loved about it are the love letters written by different people. It's so nice to reminisce and imagine all these things. Which reminds me, our Wedding Anniversary is coming up so I'd better prepare to make it extra special this time.

Tag

I received a tag from n!ce and this tag definitely made me think. I need to answer a mommy question and I admit that it's hard to choose just one answer. Okay here goes... What is your Greatest Fear as a Mom?

~ My greatest fear as a Mom would be loosing my little angel. God gave my little angel's life to me to take care of and loosing it would be a great impact to me as a mom. I feel that she's a part of me and my responsibility. I know I sound a little over head but that really is what I fear as a mom.
Thanks N!ce for the tag!

Busy Me

I was looking at the calender beside my office computer and realized that I have a busy weekend coming. Yesterday, we went out with the zitros and had dinner at North Park despite the trouble that had happened in Makati. It's my sister's Wedding Anniversary. And on our way home, we did not listen to the news anymore. My ears grew tired of all the bad news already so we just talked from nothing to anything. I was suppose to do my usual thing on the Internet last night but when I joined the little angel in bed, I was drifted immediately to Neverland with Peter Pan haha! Gosh I was so tired. I got up early this morning to ran some errands and prepared for work. Yup! it's a holiday today but we still have to work. Good thing it's double pay.

I have several things to do when I get some later tonight and hopefully I'd finished it before tomorrow. Then tomorrow we will to go SM The Block to have our pictures taken at Pic-a-boo with the little angel, hubby, SIL and her hubby and the FIL. And most probably we'll have dinner too. I'm so excited!

Monday, I have a 'All girls-day-out' again with my super friends. Can't wait! We'll watch movies and eat out. Tuesday--we plan to check out the global fun carnival at MOA. Hopefully, it won't rain. Please please no rain!

So how about your weekend?

Rushing again

Please excuse me because I still have to put my head together. Maybe I haven't adjusted to this 2-week-mid-shift schedule they gave me. So after several days, I need to adjust again to a new time schedule. It's crazy!

Anyway, this is a late update from last Sunday. We visited our new niece in Las Piñas. She had grown already, breastfeed e. Then my sister called me from outside. Hahaha! Both the little kids were driving around with Amandine's new car. Well, they were just sitting there and *Lj* though she was driving the car hahaha! My dad was navigating the car via the remote control. And oh, this is the neighbor's house in the picture hahaha! We had to take a picture of them with the little tree as the background hahaha...

~ Driving with my cousin... ~

Now I need to go! Look at the time! Grrr... Then later at night when I get home, I need to packed our things because tomorrow we're going to my sister's house again in Las Piñas. It's their Wedding Anniversary! I can't believe it's been 4 years already. I'm sure I have lots of pictures and updates when we get back. But now, I really need to gooooo!

TGIF

TGIF again. And tomorrow, SIL and her hubby will be coming home in Bulacan with us at lunch time. So I expect less sleeping hours for me. I really hate working during weekends. And speaking of sleep... we were experiencing cool breeze these couple of days and it's really nice to just hit the sack and sleep all day.

One week left before December comes and I'm really excited this Christmas for the *little angel*. We are really looking forward in bringing the little angel to the mall or carnivals because unlike before, she can express her appreciation on things now. From little things, like Christmas lights, food, pretty dresses etc. She even expresses tremendous happiness when she discover something new. Aahhhh I'm starting to miss my angel again.

I was browsing my computer here at work when I found this picture. She really looks cute with her two pony tails. This was taken 2 months ago so she looks fatter now hahaha!

SMILE AND ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

Buy gold

When it comes to investments, the only asset I can think of is getting our own house. This will build a strong foundation for us a family and for the future of our children. I remembered when I met my mother in law, she loved collecting jewelries. From precious stones, gold bracelets and necklaces to silver and white gold. She said, it will be a good investment in the future. I never really liked wearing jewelries but I thought I'm not going to wear them. I could just kept a few as an investment. And through Monex Depository Company, we can buy gold, silver or other precious metals can they can be delivered personally. And she's right, having a few set at hand keeps me ready, secure and confident.

Union Bank with Paypal

Yes, lucky me because along with the rain the other day came more paid opps for me. I was thrilled to see a couple for opportunities available. But I'm still trying to get a membership in a one of the paid opps site and hopefully I'll get accepted. Please... please... I'll keep trying!

Anyway, I was not planning to spend my hard earned opps $, but this morning, I was convinced by my office mate to get a debit card for my paypal account. You see, he's into Internet buying and stuff like that, that's why paypal is such a big deal for him. He applied a debit card from Union Bank online and he picked up his debit card after 5-working days and that's it. He just paid 200 pesos for the card fee and $1.95 for the expanded use online. Yeah, fortunately I applied one for myself so I can earn credibility from paypal and withdraw my opps $ just in case I need cash. My office mate will to go bank later to deposit some $$ so he can shop online.

* Use your UnionBank cards with PayPal today! *

Click the link for more details. And no, this is not a paid advert hehe.

Mailing list

I have a friend who’s been living in the United States for quite sometime now and she plans to put up her own business there. Since she became a mother, she decides to stay home and be with her kids and also to just manage a business so she won’t stop earning for her kid’s future. I think it’s a great idea because she can manager her own time. She’s been trying very hard researching, investigating profits and checking ways how to market her business. We’d talked hours on Internet just checking the advantages and disadvantages the business would encounter. Good thing I found ResponseCom on the Internet. This is mailing list Company that will greatly help increase sales in the market place. We still have a lot of things to do and ResponseCom Marin Worldwide Mailing List will help out tremendously.

"I QUIT!" - Mcoy & Ethel

I'm not a PBB fanatic like my mom and sister but I was surprised to hear the news regarding Mc Coy and Ethel's exit.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
On TV Patrol World: Direk Lauren talks about Mcoy and Ethel's exit

Apparently, the former Orange and Lemons lead singer felt insulted when the issue of plagiarism was raised involving the script which the celebrity housemates are filming for their weekly task. As it is, Big Brother merely wanted to clarify if Mcoy was willing to be held liable if there will be a copyright complaint against it after it's premiere on national television.

However, his anger was further incited by his sensitivity towards the issue of plagiarism, given what he had experienced before with his former band Orange and Lemons involving the song "Pinoy Ako". This led to his refusal to wear his lapel mic followed much later by his abrupt departure together with Ethel. The Ultimate Pasaway, on the other hand, expressed her disdain over Mariel's sacrifice which later one involved her and the other housemates. She was angry at Big Brother's failure to reveal the reason behind the housemates' most recent sacrifice as well as her worries on Mariel's status inside the house.

PBB Business Unit Head Direk Lauren Dyogi expressed his sadness on the sudden turn of events. "Mcoy and Ethel were two of the stronger contenders for the Big Four. Yun lang nakakalungkot. I would have wanted to see how they'll play it until the end. Pero siguro hanggang dun lang talaga ang plano nila," the director shared.

And now, the PBB staff are already looking for new housemates who will fill the positions of the Mcoy, Ethel and even Mariel, who's scheduled to exit this Saturday night.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And from an ordinary viewer like myself, I can really tell that Kuya's favorite is Mariel. Geezz!

Phillips 42 inch LCD

My daddy is planning to buy television for their bedroom. He said, this will be his Christmas treat for my mom and himself as well. And he plans to buy the phillips 42 inch LCD since he’s tired of their conventional television that’s already years old. I suggested him to browse Krillion.com first before purchasing. The site offers information on competitive products that will greatly help buyers decide on what product to purchase, locating retailers nearest to his house, and getting the accurate results on products for customers like my daddy. I’m sure my daddy would enjoy his Phillips 42 inch LCD television treat this coming Christmas. I’m so excited!

Capella University

My family plans to seek greener pastures abroad in the future. We thoroughly understand the risks we will take if ever our family will be granted that opportunity someday. Our main objective is to give our daughter a better education, probably Masters Degree. And we plan to enroll her someday at capella university. Every parent's dream is to give their children educational degree. And hopefully, our daughter would grab a degree in business, information technology, education, Human services, Psychology or a by Bachelor's degree. The university offers education excellence and business growth that would greatly help mold one's intelligence. Every parent wants only the best for their children and we believe this is the best.

What Your Handwriting Says About You

You are extravagant, over the top, and indulgent. You set trends and influence people.

You need a lot of space in your life, and it's easy for you to feel stifled. You avoid commitment and responsibility whenever you can.

Drivewire - Auto Parts and Accessories

I remembered when I was little, my daddy would bring us to cars shows, and slaloms during weekends. It was a fun experience since we were exposed to his hobby at an early age. And now our eldest sister loved cars too. My sister would join slalom races and my dad would be her advisor. Since we can get everything online nowadays, I recommended Drivewire to my dad. It’s very useful since it has auto parts and car parts for a wide range of cars. They have it from Cadillac, Chevy to Honda and Ford auto parts. And now my dad and sister can enjoy their hobbies more.

Chasing the *little angel*

I've been very active blogging for last 2 days. Since it was my rest day, I had a chance to bond with the little angel. We went to SM Marilao after lunch and we had fun with some kiddie rides. After playing we ate fries and nuggets at McDonald's. And of course, Ice cream for desert. I admit that I need the hubby if ever I plan to go somewhere like the mall with the little angel. Why? Here's why... the little angel doesn't want to hold hand with me while we walk. Most of the time she does but at times she doesn't want to. If I convince her to walk and hold hands with me, she would lie on her stomach on the floor. And if I take my hands off her, she would instantly stand up and run without looking back! Yeah, she does that all the time. I think that's play time with her in the mall. But goodness, I cannot run anymore, even with my comfy sandals or rubber shoes on. Does most kids do this? I know it's plain normal for toddlers to be active but sometimes I wonder if other toddlers are the same with mine.

At times, hubby and I will take turns on chasing the little angel around. So if you see a mother running after her daughter in the mall---yeah that's us!

Pillow Forms For Crafters

When I was still pregnant with my daughter, I loved pillows. I’d made sure I have at least four pillows around me. And now, my daughter loves pillows too. She loves all shapes and sizes. She’d also make sure that she has at least several pillows in her bed. Now, Christmas is just days away. And I’m thinking ways on what to give to friends who are living abroad. Then I found Piloh! It’s great gift to give this Christmas. They make pillows with polyester pillow form, pillow insert and feather pillow forms and inserts. I think the feather pillow form will be great for my good friend who just had baby daughter weeks ago. This will make her comfy at night with her baby daughter. And not to mention the decorative pillows for my mother in law. Square and rectangular pillows will go great in her living room for sure. I can also give decorative ideas for the house which I found on the website. And since I can choose the shape, these will be great for every family member that has different tastes. And I think the bolster will go to my brother in law. And since, they are all living abroad, I can easily place an order and it will be delivered to their doorstep before Christmas comes. That’s very convenient for me, and that’s also a way of saying that we miss them so much.

Care Homes

Caring for our elderly is simply the most important in the family. This gives us a chance to offer back the kindness and love to our dearly beloved. I remembered my daddy did everything just to take care of my grandfather, even on the last days when he was still alive. Fast forward to the present time, I could not agree more. I would not be happy now if it weren’t for my parents who have been very supportive on every decision I made. I would clearly want to best for my parents when they get old. Good thing Better Caring already available. They provide excellent service to us that need answers to crucial questions regarding how to care of loved ones. I can easily choose which service suits our family needs. With Care homes, me and the rest of the family will have peace of mind because with excellent service we can trust our loved ones are in good hands.

Healthy Living

I grabbed this tag from Alpha for my filler post. And I found myself drooling over the cake picture from her blog. So I browsed my picture files and found this treat from last year's Christmas dinner.

1. What is your definition of ‘healthy eating’?
~ Healthy eating is watching what you eat. A little of everything will do.

2. Do you exercise on a regular basis? What is your favorite form of exercise? Least favorite?
~ I used to exercise regularly. But since I'm working on shifting schedules, sometimes I'm having a hard time squeezing my exercise activities from my daily routine. I used "I want those abs" video from sister. Unfortunately, I can't find the CD anymore. Hopefully, my sister *J* still has it.

3. Do you take vitamin supplements?
~ I never liked taking vitamin supplements. I have the impression that it will make me grow fatter.

4. Can you tell that your body is getting older? If so, how?
~ I easily get tired. I cannot keep up with the little angel lately. And my metabolism dropped which explains these love handles.

5. Would you call yourself healthy?
~ Healthy in a way that I'm eating and trying to watch what I eat.

Garage Floors

My Husband loves motorcycles. And during his rest days from work, he spends countless hours in the garage just fixing the motorcycle. Our garage is not big or not too small. It’s just made of plain flat cement. Sometimes, I think we should get tiles for the garage since the husband is always there. Good thing I found Car Guy Garage. I can easily browse ideas from their wide range of Garage floors. They have cabinets, workbenches, flooring and storage for the garage which is great Christmas present for the husband. I’m sure he’s going to love it!.

Pic and Tag

The *little angel* was making lambing when I was working on the computer the other night. Good thing the Digicam was beside the monitor and I was able to convince her to smile.

~ Double chin... ~

Thanks Litzie for this tag!
~ Sleeping Like A Baby ~

1. Are you a back, stomach, or side sleeper? Does it change throughout the night?
~ Sleep on my stomach. Otherwise, I can't sleep at all. Now, I've learned to sleep on my left side because of the *little angel*. I usually end up the same position.
2. Do you have any bad sleeping habits (snoring/tooth grinding/talking/walking)?
~ I think I grind my teeth once in a while.
3. How many hours of sleep do you average per night?
~ 4 to 5 hours a day.
4. Are you a sound sleeper or do you wake up a lot?
~ Sound sleep. Too tired.
5. Are you a “cold” or a “hot” sleeper? (i.e., Do you wear flannel pajamas and bury yourself under mountains of blankets, or do you throw your windows wide open in the middle of winter and complain about the heat?)
~ Because I work on shifting schedules, I thank the opportunity when I can sleep at night. I prefer short shorts and sleeveless when I sleep.

Bed and breakfast Paris

It seems that everyone I know wants to go to Paris. When I think of Paris, I think of Romance. I want to see the incredible sites like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Notre-dame and many more. And Paris bed and breakfast is the place to be when finding a place to stay. Nothing beats a great scenery and hospitality in a foreign country. B&B Paris serves the most exquisite breakfast... flaky and buttery croissant, full flavor and aroma coffee that is only available in Paris. Come and experience the romance.

Very interesting to see 'who' your friends are!

(10-16 points) You are Garfield :You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how tohave fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know whatyou are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others maynot see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

(17-23 points) You are Snoopy:You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what's i nand you are never are out of style You are good at knowing how tosatisfy everyone else. You have probably disappeared for a few daysmore than once but you always come home with the family values that you learned Being married and having children are important to you, butonly after you have had your share of fun times.

(24-28 points) You are Elmo:You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing togive advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic andyou always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not tobe too much of a dreamer. Dreaming too big could cause many conflicts inyour life.

(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants:You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friendthat anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. You never causeharm to anyone and they would never not understand your feelings. Lifeis a journey, it's funny and calm for the most part. Stay away fromtraitors and jealous people, and you will be stress free.

(36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown: (This is Me!)You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very seriousabout all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Momevery Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a fewBirthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points) You are Dexter:You are smart and definitely a thinker... Every situation is frontedwith a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strongfamily principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes. Try to do less over thinking every once in awhile to spice things up a bit with spontaneity!

Try it!

TGIF!

I think the week just past in a flash because it's already Friday. The little angel has a kiddie party to attend to tomorrow and I'm sure if we can go or not. I hate working during weekends. It takes away my quality time with the little angel. And speaking of the *little angel*, she has grown a lot in the past month. I cannot give specific numbers but looking at her proves that she gained weight. I would tell her taba-ching-ching (chubby), but she would hold her chin saying "chin-chin" instead. She's very aggressive and loves to run back and fort. Sometimes she would run like a sprint inside the bedroom, back and fort from the bed to the door. She also loves to play catch with her red ball. She talks a lot now too. And oh she loves to watch her baby cd.

~ She calls it the *baby* cd... ~

Now she knows how to count, name shapes, body parts, animals, fruits and many more. In here, we don't have cable tv, because I'd rather pay for the Internet connection. The only Channel on the TV is 7 and Q-tv. But it's okay because I'd rather prefer the little angel to watch her baby cd rather than see her dance with the tunes in wowowie show because the yaya is also watching. And the only thing that stops her from making a mess around the house is this *baby* cd. Thanks to my SIL for giving me this.

I'm really enjoying every moment of our quality time together. Enjoy your weekend!

Recipe: Creama de Fruta

Okay, so here's the *feeling-chef* in me again trying to make a delightful work of art. But this is so easy and I believe all you already know how to do this hehehe. It's just that, Christmas is around the corner and I feel it's Creama de Fruta time once again! So here's how I do it.

Ingredients:
~ Everything you need is on the photo already. 2-packs of Graham crackers, 2-packs of Nestle Cream, 1-can Del Monte Fruit cocktail (or any fruit like peaches etc), 1-can Milkmaid.

~ goodies... ~

1. In a separate bowl, mix the 2-packs of nestle Cream and Milkmaid. Mix well. After this, I place the mixture inside the freezer for at least 5 minutes or more so I could have a slightly thick cream texture.

~ Mixing in progress... ~

3. Drain the fruit cocktail in a separate bowl and set aside. Prepare and line up the graham crackers to any rectangular pan or pyrex and put the cream mixture. Do this until you have 4 to 5 layers.

~ Building a good foundation.... ~

4. Leave a small amount of cream mixture and mix the drained fruit cocktail in it. Top this fruit mixture on the Graham foundation. Others pour gelatin to prevent the fruits from going else where. You can do that too if you want.

~ Almost done... ~

You can eat the Creama de Fruta after a good 3-4 hours inside the fridge. This will give the graham cracker time to soften to a cake-like texture. Enjoy!

Christmas is in the Air

Last week I set-up our humble Christmas tree and the *little angel* helped me. She's quite a helper I must say. And I'm starting to feel the Christmas breeze in the air here.

~ Mommy's little helper... ~

Oh how I love Christmas! Now that we have the *little angel* to celebrate it with. Every occasion is worth celebrating. And talk about occasions, in a 2 months it's gonna be the *little angel*'s second birthday. Last January, we celebrated it at Shakey's but next year it's gonna be here at home. Something tells me I need a 4-day leave from work. This means major preparations! Everything needs to be done by myself. And to start it off, my mom and I went to 168 yesterday to buy some toys and give-aways. And I'm sure my sisters help me some errands. But before that, I'd make sure we'd enjoy our Christmas here together! How about you?

Payday loans

I’ve been thinking on getting my own personal laptop. Since I’m already paid ops, I cannot afford not to go online just in case this desktop computer crash. And of course, I need to store my precious pictures in a safe place where only I can access them. There are a lot of laptops available in the market and each one can be too pricey, even for me. That’s why Payday Loans quotes can greatly help my personal need. They offer loans ranges from $100 to $1500. That’s enough for me to buy my own laptop. And if my loan is approved, I can easily receive the loan directly into my bank account the next day. It’s so easy and convenient for me. So no rushing to the Bank and wait long line for hours. I can easily transact online with my own bank at my own convenient time. Thanks to Pay day loan quotes, I can finally buy my own personal laptop.

News Flash!

News Flash! Two days ago, my little *angel* broke my eye glasses. She was on her super *kulit* mode and she kept taking things that she knew I forbid her to play with. Like my wallet, cellphone, computer keyboard and my eye glasses. I was caught unaware. She snatched my eye glasses and ran! When I got to her, my eye glasses was already in two pieces. I shouted in disbelief but she just laugh and thought it was all play time. She cried when I got mad and I told to her say sorry... and she did and said "torry..." I was not like all hell mad. I just wanted her to know that it was not right to take things away without permission. Am I doing wrong? I kinda felt guilty being mad at her but I don't want to spoil her so I thought it was the right thing to do. Anyway, luckily I found my old glasses so I'm still not blind hehehe! And my sister gave me her frame for my future use, just in case *Lj* decides to terminate my old glasses--again. Thanks sis!

~ My eye glasses in two pieces... ~

More News Flash! My sister's new born baby finally came home. My sister texted us that it was a tearful moment when Amandine finally met her baby sister. I wished I saw that precious moment hayyyy.... hehehe. BTW, her name is WILLISA AIVERINE ORTIZ TOBIAS. Welcome home!

Be Furnished

I remembered when I was a kid, our Papang (Grandfather) used to built chairs and tables from scratch. He'd make sure every single piece of his creation is perfect. And he would smile if we'd use it for playtime. Then I stumbled upon befurnished website on the Internet. They offer benches, chairs, Teak sets, cusshions and many more. The have cool and classy designs that would suit every home. How I love the Teak Deep seating set which is so perfect in the garden for relaxing. And the Lahaina Extension table and the Angela folding chairs is perfect for family picnics in the backyard.

Bedroom Furniture

My mother loved to shop furnitures around the house. Recently she just replaced our 15 year old living set with a brand new one. How I love to see my mom getting all busy around the house especially the Holidays is coming. She wanted everything to be pretty. I also suggested her to replace the old bed they have. Furniture from home website have wide choices of beds. They have Sleigh bed, Queen beds to Kings Beds. I really love the Queen Sleigh Bedroom Furniture Set Sets Oak Finish. It's very classy and relaxing.

Dyson genuine accessories

My daughter at two years old is getting very active everyday. She would jump up and down the bed, watch her favorite shows on TV, play with her toys, eat more than the usual. But one thing I am concern is being sanitary around the house. As all mothers knows, we cannot look and stare at our child 24 hours a day. We still need to do house hold chores and run errands around the house. And cleaning the house is one of the stressful things to do especially if you have toddler who'd cause a tornado. Good things there's Dyson. I can choose from several choices which suites my needs. From upright, Cylinder and handheld cleaners. Another great benefit is that they now offer the new and easy to use parts and accessories on the website. It will greatly help moms with a very busy day.

HotelReservations

Holidays are fast approaching and I’m sure hotels all around the world are pouring with reservations. Touring during the holidays is a great experience. I remember, when we went to Hong Kong during the holidays, we had so much fun because there’s so much see and the people are great. We visited Ocean Park and watched the Dolphin show. We also toured around Hong Kong, but that was years ago so there’ still no Disneyland there yet. So my sister is planning and organizing that we go Hong Kong next year to check out Disneyland with the whole family. I’m sure my daughter, *Lj* and her cousin Amandine will enjoy. I’m so excited to see the reactions of our babies in the family. I’m sure it’s going to be an unforgettable experience for us. And I’m glad I found Hotel Reservations on the Internet. They offer hotel reservations not only in one country but to others countries as well, like United States, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italia, Nederland, Canada, and many more. Not only I can book hotel reservations, I can also book flights and rent cars so that I will not have problems when I get to my located. Especially with a baby in tow, everything should be ready and well planed. Hotel Reversations also offers Vacation rentals and Vacation packages which convenient for big families like ours. I easily choose customize the package I want to purchase, like the flight, hotel accommodation, cars and also the number family members that will going. And these packages are very affordable. My Assignment - Part One

I was able accomplish part of my long overdue 'assignment' yesterday. It's overdue because I saw the date on the paper-Oct. 8 and it's already Nov. 6 today! haha. The hubby accompanied me to Medical City in Pasig at 9AM-after my shift. We were suppose to go to St. Lukes but I preferred Medical City instead because of the good service I experienced when I gave birth to *Lj* almost two years ago. I was very nervous because I already knew they need blood for their tests. When my number was called, I complain to the hubby and said, "Ang bilis naman tawagin yung number ko!" Then he said, "Good luck". Hell-oh! Good luck is not right word. The nurse asked me to sit down and then I saw sterilized needles, cotton balls, tubes and all sorts on my left. I asked couple of questions to the nurse about the paper she gave me while she prepares everything. I got really nervous when she tied a rubber thing in my arm. I asked her, "Marami ba kelangan?" and she answered, "Konti lang, mga isang tube lang." WTF?!! One tube is not little Hell-oh! That's a lot! At that point, there's nothing I can do but to just close my eyes. Believe me, the next 60 seconds was not pleasant. I cannot even look at the needle. I waited and waited. That was the longest 60 seconds promise. They said I can get the results after 5 hours but we decided to go just back next week because I still need other test which is scheduled on Monday morning. So my ass will be back there on Monday early morning with the hubby. I hope it's nothing serious.

~ Ouch! I hate needles... ~

mp3 players

We are now officially counting days before Christmas. We were already checking our Christmas lights earlier before dinner. And tomorrow we will be setting up Christmas tree already. Our living room is mess with *Lj* toys. I might be transferring them inside the bedroom so we can have some space for the Christmas tree. Once I have my Christmas tree up tomorrow, I would then think of gifts for zitros. Gift giving and opening during Christmas day is very special for us. We loved to surprise each other with gifts. There are loads of gifts ideas I have in mind for my sisters. Good thing I found Savebuckets website. They offer computer accessories like notebook bag lock, notebook security lock, laptop bag with numerous choices and many more. They also have mp3 players and accessories for MAC which my sister would love. Our youngest sister would love an mp3 player of her own. Savebuckets would definitely save me time and trips to the mall.

+ Songs of My Life +

~ Blue eyes Blue by: Eric Clapton – I like this song because it’s so sad. It’s not that I like sad songs, but this one is very emotional for me.

~ The Way You Look Tonight by: Frank Sinatra – This is all time favorite for me and hubby. The song is Classic and elegant for us. This is also our wedding song.

~ Swept Away by: Christopher Cross – This is our bf/gf “theme song”.

~ Canon in D major by: Johann Pachelbel – Our unforgettable wedding march.

~ More today than yesterday by: Spiral staircase – It always reminds me how good life is and how much I love my family (zitros, Lj, hubby) whenever I hear this song.

+ Three thing I can't let go of +

List three things I can't let go of:
1. INTERNET – I can’t last a day without checking my emails.

2. Cell phone – I feel isolate and not connected when I don’t have my cell phone. I also feel secured when I have my phone because getting in touch with my family is one speed dial away.

3. Digicam – My friend once said when we were in Anawangin, “Everything should be documented”. It’s true. My pictures holds special moments of my past that I can easily show my daughter when she grew up.

+ Aging Gracefully +

1. If you could pause your aging process, at what age would you choose do to it? (Meaning you would not live forever, but live for 90 or so years at whatever age you chose).

~ I’d like to pause it at age 26, simply because I stopped counting at 26. And I feel I can do everything because I’m not too young or too old.

2. At what age did you (or will you) consider yourself to be an adult?

~ I consider myself a responsible adult when I gave birth at age 26. Actually, that’s 27 in 2 months during that time.

3. What do you think will be your most annoying trait when you’re a senior?

~ Maybe I’ll be spoiling my grandchildren in the future.

4. How does your current life compare with where you thought you’d be at this point when you were young?

~ During my younger days, I thought I would pursue a career in music. Singing and playing in bars and TV; and having a concert tour here in abroad.

5. When would you like to retire? What do you see yourself doing with your life after retirement?

~ The last thing I’d do is loose is my job so in the future I would prefer a stay at home mom when I retire. Decorate, cook, bake, do some gardening in the house. I didn’t get a chance to do these things now because of my tight schedule. I would also like to tour
Europe with my husband and enjoy each other’s company while we’re still alive and breathing.

+ Tagged +

+ Mommy Talk +

Let's talk mommy stuffs:

1. What food did you crave when you were pregnant?
~ Chicken! At home or dine out, there should be fried chicken for me.
~ Goldilocks polvoron – hubby would not permit me to eat 2 or more because I might get fat. But I managed to eat more than 2 when I’m in the bus hehehe. I remembered, it feels like heaven on every bite!
~ Buko

2. Did you gain a lot of weight when you were pregnant?
~ I was huge! From 120lbs to 180lbs! Scary!

3. Did you drink milk when you were pregnant?
~ Anmum but it should be chocolate flavored. I mistakenly bought the milk flavor once, but I mixed it with Milo.

4. How long did you stay in the labor room before your delivery?

~ I was rushed to Medical City (from Bulacan) at around 1:30AM. We arrived around 2 or 2:15AM at the emergency room. I was admitted at 2:30AM and gave birth at 6AM.

5. Did you have epidural during labor?
~ Yes, but they gave the spinal anesthesia later on. I was not complaining about the pain. I was just gripping the overhead bar on the bed and trying to minimize my groaning. I was not the shouting and cursing type of person inside the labor room.

6. How did you give birth?
~ I must say, I was very lucky to have a normal delivery. Normal contractions, etc etc.

7. What was your first reaction when you heard your baby's cry and saw him/her for the first time?
~ I was shocked because I never thought that I am capable of bringing a baby to the world. I also said “Lumabas yan sakin?” hehehe.
~ I was relieved when I heard her cry for the first time. I could see the nurses cleaning her up 5-6 feet away from me. I was literally trying to count her fingers and toes from afar, just to check their complete.
~ I smiled when I saw clef chin she got from her daddy.

8. Prior to that moment when you first held your baby, did you know how to carry a newborn?
~ Yes. I have 5 sisters so the youngest was still a baby during my elementary days. I had the chance to take care of my baby sister back then.

9. Did you take a bath after your delivery?

~ No. My hubby and his family are very superstitious. They did not allow me to take a bath for 5 days. They hired a masahista, but not the ordinary masahista or manghihilot. It’s usually the elder woman who knows how. She would come here for the next 3 days and massage me from head to toe. Believe me, it was really relaxing. I felt good and relieved afterwards.

10. How was your first night with your baby like?

~ Hubby and I would take turns when *Lj* cried during the night. Sometimes, I would call my mom first if I had questions, on what’s normal or not.

11. Did you breastfeed your baby?
~ Yes, but it didn’t last long.

12. If you were to pick just one moment from the time you gave birth until the moment you were discharged from the hospital, which do you think is the most special moment for you?

~ The most memorable moment is when I came in to breastfeed her for the first time. She was not hungry during that time, so I just held her in my arms. I felt special because God gave me a reason to live.
