Music & Lyrics
While waiting for Music & Lyrics to load on the site... I thought I'd browse youtube this time. I remembered my sister Jac, told me that kuya Levy has a video there. This is my first time to post a video link here from youtube, so hope it works. Anyway, Mr. Levy Bartolome is a very good friend of our family. He used to play here at home during special occasions and parties... minsan kahit jamming lang. Pero ang jamming naman namin eh halos every weekends! And to think that was like 10 years ago! No Joke! Haaay! those were the days! We used to play with his daughter, Eloisa (Lowie) Bartolome. We always join different Battle of the Bands during fiestas. Kasama ko si Jac nun, so all girl rock band kami hahaha! I enjoyed every moment of it. And her cousin, Lem was our ever malufet lead guitarist. Grabeh! Talent runs in the family talaga. I even got a chance to meet Jessie Bartolome (Bassist) and Mr. Heber Bartolome himself.
Lowie and Jac got a chance to jam few months ago at nagkasundo naman yung dalawa. Both of them are composers kase. They to plan sell their compositions to local artists. But I advised them to have their songs copyrighted first. I'm proud of my sister, because she has come a long way ever since and she has finally learned to express herself through the songs she write. Now I'm wondering kung nasa na yung mga videos namin nung mga jamming namin dati... Goodluck sakin kung mahanap ko yon... eh 10 years ago na yon!
Jac... sorry rin kung hindi ako masipag mag memorize ng mga Music & Lyrics mo. Just keep 'em coming and maybe I'll have the time soon! Miss you...

At Last
I'm not gonna brag about how many lbs I lost but I'm pretty sure I lost a couple. I don't monitor my weight because I think our weighing scale here is busted. I'm relying on the clothes I wear. I know that's pretty stupid pero sempre ang sarap ng feeling pag maluwag na yung mga damit ko or nagkasya na at last yung ibang damit ko. I've been wearing skirts these past few days. And believe me, I don't look that fat anymore. I'm also surprised na nag kasya na AT LAST! yung dress na binigay sakin ni Roselle. She gave me that dress when I was still pregnant... it was December 2005. So the dress waited 2 Christmas in my closet. I tried the dress the other day, and walla! kasya na at hindi pilit. I remembered last month, I tried that dress but unfortunately, pumuputok pa sya! Hindi nga ako makaupo pag suot ko yon eh. Pero ngayon, may allowance na at hindi pako hirap umupo. I'm so happy! hahahah! Ang babaw nho?! Then the next day, I wore the black skirt with the slit on the side pero maluwag na rin. Then yesterday, I wore the balloon white skirt with matching pink blouse. My officemates were asking why I looked blooming nowadays. I said, I dunno. I'm beginning to enjoy what I'm seeing right now. Baka eto na yung panahon na papayat na talaga ako hehehe!
If only I can convince and discipline myself in exercising everyday, maybe I will loose weight fast.

Grabeh to the max!
Grabeh to the max ang init ngayon! Umabot na ata sa 39 degrees eh. Ang hirap bumyahe at nakakainis rin mag stay sa bahay. Kahit mag bukas ako ng electric fan, mainit pa rin yung hangin. Hindi kaya ma-heat stroke na tayo nito?!Okay naman pala yung Christian wedding ng officemate ko. Same rin ng ceremonies pero wala yung 'mass' talaga... more on sermon and kantahan sila. At sempre soobrang okay ng food! Daming choices ng food at ang dami pa. Feeling ko nga kulang yung mga bisita pero sakto naman yung mga upuan. Sana nga nakapag-take home ako! hehehehe! 11'o clock PM nako nakarating dito sa house tapos gising na naman ng 4AM kase papasok nako. Naabutan kong tulog si Lanna tapos aalis ako, tulog parin sya. Parang one day tuloy kaming hindi nagkita. Feeling ko, miss na miss na nya ako! nyahahahaha!
I've been thinking lately... hindi ata ako mabubuhay ng walang Internet. Buong araw nakong online sa office pero pagdating ko sa bahay, bukod sa kukunin ko si Lanna sa yaya nya--bukas computer na agad ako parang mag online. Ewan ko ba.
Three weeks ago, my papa told me that he wantsed a laptop kahit yung hindi high-end... mga pang office lang... Word, excel, Winamp and watch movie etc. Tuwa naman ako kase mag kakaron na sya ng sarili nyang computer. Naghanap ako agad sa Internet, and last saturday nabili na nga namin. Mura lang to promise! I'm planning to buy one for myself nga eh. Voice chat, blog, surf, stream, store pictures lang naman usually ginagawa ko eh. Hmmm... tignan natin. Anyway, eto na nga tinuturuan ko na si papa... at walla! may email address na sya! He still needs to familiarize himself online... kase ni-ultimong maliit na ad sa gilid ng window eh tinatanong nya... baket ganyan, at baket ganon. Well, aminado naman ako na hindi ako magaling na teacher. Hindi kase ako magaling magturo eh. Kay Lanna lang ako matyagang magturo--well sempre kase anak ko yon eh.
Ang saya nga kase kahit dito sa baba pede ako mag internet. Napaka-init kase sa taas... parang impyerno! No Joke! lolz! At ngayon nakapag-update pako. Next thing to do here is setup a wireless network. Next project ko yon.
Iba talaga nagagawa ng technology ngayon nho? Teka video streaming muna....

Wedding
I will be going to my officemate's wedding on April 18 in Antipolo. I'm so excited for him. And aslo, this is my time to go to a Christian Wedding so I dunno what will happen. Malamang pareho lang ng ceremony sa Catholic. Anyway... another good friend of mine will wed this coming May 1. She is begging me to come because she doesnt have a wedding coordinator. I love to come and help her out pero soobrang biglaan naman yung nangyari. Hirap na mag file ng leave. Naalala ko tuloy yung wedding ko. Everything was all set pero parang may kulang parin. Uhm... Bahala na siguro....

Updates...
Been doing a lot of photo-uploading lately... Thanks to dsl, I was able to upload and re-arrange my treasured memories. Just an update...
+ March 30 +
We had a fish activity in the office--Acoustic Night Jam. It was fun! We all enjoyed the music, chats and the laughs. Especially me... I missed "those days"-- the music, friends, drinks, ambiance and the audience. Haayy! Time flies... but for me, no regrets. I'm very much happy with my life right now. I'll just encourage Lanna to pursue music when she grows up. I want her to enjoy... just like I did.

Yup! This was the overnight swimming we had with my hubby's relatives. We had lunch in Bulacan--Sunday and went to Casa Elum Pavilion and Resort at 2pm. We rented a room for us to stay in. The place was good. Two big swimming pools and kiddie play grounds. And our room was located near the swimming with a multi-purpose hall in front. So we got to enjoy the view without the hassle of long walk trips from the pool and to where the food was hehehe! The sun was hot but Lanna enjoyed every moment of it, I'm sure. I also enjoyed our stay... I got to practise my swimming moves hehehe! Feels good to dive and do lapses again. I think I burned a lot of calories that day, which is definitely good. We when home that night because Lanna wont sleep. But we all got up early and brought them breakfast. The resort was near from their house in Bulacan. Lanna just cant get enough of the water. She refused to obey me by not going to pool. Tita asked me if Lanna can swim that morning, but I said I did not brought spare clothes... She said, "Hubaran nalang natin." Yes folks, Lanna was again very excited. She was butt naked in the pool hahaha! After that, we went home and had lunch there. After everyone else left, I quickly packed our things so we can go home too. I was so tired, I just slept the rest of the afternoon.
I wish we can go to the beach. But hhhmmm... maybe next year. I'm sure Lanna would definitely enjoy the sand.

We woke up early this morning to watch the "salubong" sa church then deretso na kami ng Mass. Later na yung swimming namin! I have to pack our things pa... May tantrum na si Lanna kase inaantok pa. Gotta go muna. I'll update when I get back. Enjoy your day! =)

Good Friday
Today was a peaceful day. Lanna and I woke up early--6AM. We played and watched TV that morning. Around 9AM, I woke up all my puyat sisters and asked them to take a bath. We all went to the nearby church and did the Station of the Cross. Did I ever mention that our family always practise our religious rites every year? Now I did. We did our confession yesterday. And also during new year--before the year ends. Papa told us that it's a good practise so we can start the year right. Mom cooked our famous and traditional recipe every Lenten Season--Bacalao. This habit was passed on to us by +Mamang. I remembered that she would tell us not to make noise or even run during good fridays... in respect to the Creator, I guess. Anyway, we ate lunch and went upstairs to watch the seven last words on TV. Everybody seemed to doozed off and Lanna was the only one active. She keeps walking around, playing, shouting, dragging toys around, baby talking etc... I even woke up coz she was combing my hair. Yeah, it hurts... but it's okay. Maybe she was trying to be nice or something.
Then we all watched "Death Note" that afternoon. I think it's one of those Japanese movies again. But it's good--the story is original... I guess for me, coz I still havent heard anything like it, so it pretty interesting. It's kinda difficult to watch though... coz of those annoying sub-titles! I have to read the lines fast at the buttom of the screen and not look at the characters. That's why I can't figure out which one is who--to think that all Japanese people seemed to look alike... And their names also are very hard to pronounce... All I can remember is Ryuk (Ree-yuk)--God of Death, Owner of the Death Note. Aaaaaahhhhhh.... Cool huh?! Watch narin kayo. We're gonna watch part II tomorrow coz it's already late.
Speaking of late... I'm getting sleepy myself. I can't believe I'm so updated on my blog nowadays. Anyway, I'll sleep for now. My sister is playing 'The Sound of Music-OST' in her computer--and it's getting in my head.

Summer is here!
Summer is here! It's burning hot outside. About 32 degrees. We don't have any plans for this summer. My papa doesnt want to hit the beach yet. He said, we will all go next year. But it's okay. I still have time to slim down.... yeah, I have all the time! 11 months to go before the next summer hahahaha! I wish I can maintain the discipline of exercising, just like Genpot. I can do diet and all that crap but I really need to work on firming these flabs... or what you call, excess skin. I envy those gurls who still have their slim body. Yeah, I still get those envious feeling flowing in my viens that I want to burst out and curse them! hehehe! Ex-sage na ba? Hell of course, I'm not like that. It's true that I reminise those days but when I look at Lanna... these extra pounds I gained is worth it.
We have a swimming outing with my hubby's side of the family on Sunday. Overnight--until Monday 12noon. They rented a place in Marilao--it's not that far, so it's okay to go. I'm so excited for Lanna hehehe.
For now, I'll just wait for *T*'s summer get away update... para narin akong nag outing nun.
Can't wait for next summer!

Happy Birthday
It's my mom's birthday today! Happy Birthday Mamsie! =) Ardey and I were planning something special for mom. But we can't think of anything! Saturday morning, sinundo ako ni papa and mama sa office. I brought my bass guitar kase sa office the day before... we had a fish activity in the office -- Acoustic jam! Anyway, my friends accompanied me downstairs. Then I saw our car... I saw papa, mama and gelai inside. After I put the bass at the back, I saw a baby peeped out the window--hahaha! it was Lanna! Gelai was holding Lanna all time and was forcing her to hide coz they were gonna surprise me. Well, Lanna spoiled the surprise.... maybe she can sense her mother was just outside. I greeted mom inside the car. We went to Merced to eat breakfast. I ordered my all time and childhood favorite there--palabok. After eating, papa and I, reminise the times that we always eat there with the 'whole' family... as in lahat kami including my uncle's family, +Papang and +Mamang. Just a little flashback--after church, we always eat lunch there and while waiting for our order... +Papang would go to the counter and shop for bread. He would buy those little pandesal in a bag, mongo bread, box of pastillas, braso de mercedes, cup cakes... and +he would ask me what I want. And me, being the 'matakaw' would get sansrival and the bee hive cup cake. I laughed when I saw those Bee hive cup cake there.I slept a little at home. Ardey, wabs and Amandine arrived before lunch. Our plan that day was to have dinner. So we all finally got dressed and went to Market Market. Nag ikot ikot lang kami. Lanna was pretty amazed at the fountain located before the entrance. It's kinda cool to look at though because the water was dancing in some kinda sequence. My arms and back hurt because I was carrying Lanna all the time. Yes she's heavy. I don't want her to walk coz she's not the type of baby that would walk slowly. When her feet touched the ground, she would run! And I have to run and catch her. What if she tripped, fall and hurt herself? I dont want the risk. And besides, there were so many people that time... baka mawala sya. Well, ganyan talaga pag mom na. Moms like me knows how it feels... well, you know what I mean.
Anyway, we ate in one of those seafood kainan. Then we surprised mom with some flowers and a Red Ribbon cake. Hmmm... cake! We all went home after that. Me and Lanna were fast asleep on the way home. I gave mom two big liquid moisturizing bath soap. I'm glad she liked it. I still havent uploaded the pictures yet coz I'm using my sister's computer... MacBook G4--aw! It's kinda hard to use... though I know a little on Mac (coz of my previous trainings) but I'm not a Mac user. This is kinda cool though--it's fast, cool features, slim, very clean looking--bagay sakin...hmmmm... *wake up!!!* I'm dreaming again. Maybe I can get me one of these gadgets.... someday! Teka baka mawili nako dito. I'm so outta here... for now.
