Beach getaway

I was on a 2-day beach getaway with my fellow L2SMOC friends last Sunday and Monday. All these sun burn was worth it! Breathless view, white sand, clear blue water, island hopping, colorful corals and more! I'll upload the pictures soon. I have to finish the watermarks first. Safety first right? Anyway, here's our IT.

L2S Mountaineering and Outdoors Club - Itinerary:

Day 1 (July 29)
5:00am – Assembly Victory Liner Cubao
6:00am – ETD fro San Antonio, Zambales
9:30am – ETA Pundaquit, Zambales
Arrange boat for Anawangin
10:00am – ETA Anawangin Beach

Day 2 (July 30)
7:00am – Wake up call
9:00am – Dive/snorkel, Explore Capones Island, light house and nearby island
12:00nn – ETA Punduquit, Lunch and bath.
2:00pm – ETD Pundaquit
5:00pm – ETA Manila - Home sweet home


To bring:
Swimming gears – swim suit, goggles, mask, breathing tube, fins, underwater cam, etc.
Insect repellant - off lotion
First aid kit – paracetamol, betadine, gauze/bandage, and personal needs.
Sunblock/sunscreen
Mess kit and water proof bags
Hammock
Extra food (snacks)

Budget: P1000.00 inclusive of 2 way bus fare, boat rent and other fees. Excess money will go to food budget.

HP Books

I think Harry Potter hype died down already, or not?

I'm not the super HP fan and I don't read the books. But our office gave us an offer we can't refuse. Reservation for HP Book 7 for Php1450. But wait... there's more! We get a Book 6 absolutely free! hahaha... And the other day, I got my copy.

~ Harry Potter Book 6 and 7 ~

I haven't seen the latest HP movie and I think I need to because I have these books. But looking at the books, I think I just want to keep them. Crazy but I don't want to get them all wrinkled up. I'm also thinking of buying books 1-5 just to complete the set. Argh.

...Or maybe I will get the rest of the books to complete the set and give it to Lanna. So can read and enjoy Harry Potter--someday.

TGIF again...

TGIF again but it's my first update for the week. Just a quick summary of what went by these couple of days…

 

Saturday – July 14 à Had lunch out with SIL Atty. Jen, Jojo and Parents @ Burgoo, SM The Block. It was my first time to eat there and I think the food was good especially the dessert we had. Yummy.

 

Sunday – July 15 à TriNoMa strolling again with Zitros. I ate pecan clusters again @ Blizzard and Dilly bar for *Lj*. She very much enjoyed the ice cream but you won't believe the mess she created afterwards. Anyway, I was already feeling sick (headache, body pains).

 

Monday – July 16 à Our date with mah girlfriends—Malen, Amy and Ruthie. It's so nice to see them again. We had lunch out @ Sbarro, watched Transformers, attended 3 classes @ Fitness First, had steam and sauna bath, dinner @ Teriyaki boy TriNoMa. How good was that huh? I'm surprised to hear them brag how much weight I lost. I must admit, I did loose all that puson from my pregnancy days. I think we should schedule another girls day/night out again!

 

Tuesday/Wednesday à I was home not feeling my regular self because of the fever, headache, body pains, sore throat. I think my throat got worse from all that talk n' talk but it was worth it.

 

My week was not that productive coz I haven't done any updates and articles. I really need to catch up. Maybe next week… we'll see.

Friday the 13th

Today is Friday the 13th! Oooohhhh! Hehehe…  Anyway, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's lunch with SIL Atty. Jen. It's her husband's birthday and we plan to lunch out then dinner at home.

 

Then on Monday, I'm looking forward to our gurls gateaway with mah girlfriends— Malen, Amy and Ruthie! Yahoo! IT for Monday à Gym, dine and movie! See you guys!

4th of July

Wow! Today's 4th of July! It's also my +Papang and +Mamang's Wedding Anniversary. I missed them so much. Speaking of anniversary, we went to a 15th wedding anniversary last Saturday at the Town & Country Clubhouse in Marikina. The call time was 5:30pm but the ceremony started 6:30pm. My sister exchanged cameras with me coz she had to meet up with her college friends at Gateway to watch a movie, so she preferred the my digicam instead coz it was small and handy. So there I was with my yabang Canon EOS which was not mine hahaha. I had a hard time taking pictures coz I'm not an EOS user. All I know was point and shoot. But being the professional wanna be that I am, I think my shots were good. Good enough for a beginner hahaha. More or less, I really enjoyed taking those pictures. *Lj* fell asleep in the car hahaha I guess she got tired from all that running and shouting. BTW, here's my dress...

Hate

Wow! Something to do! Thanks Tin… This is new! I haven’t tried this one yet… Uhmm… Let’s see… here’s goes…

1. Food you hate: Raw foods! Like Sushi. Bleh. Oh come on now… it’s not cooked?! There are germs in it! hahaha sorry!

2. Fruits that you hate: Durian or anything that smells bad. Phew.

3. Veggies that you hate: Anything that I’m not familiar with so I can’t name any. Getz?

4. Celebrities or people that you hate: ~ Ruffa Gutierez. Come on look at her, everything’s wrong! ~Dr. Belo. Plastic surgery is written all over her face. ~Lolit Solis. I’m speechless… ~Kris Aquino. I hate it when the media talks about non-sense about this lady. I’m mean, come on. We had enough already. ~People who walk as if there’ll in outer space. Especially when I’m in hurry and people would not care and walk slow in front of you. ~Drivers here. They have no discipline at all. ~Posers and social climbers. People who pretend to be rich and wealthy... oh come on now… ~People who spit on the road. Yuck!

5. Event/incident/situation that you hate: ~rude saleslady or clerk. ~People with bad slang English. There are some with maarteng accent pa. Wake up! You’re in PI for God sakes.

6. TV shows or movies that you hate: ~Bakya movies (cheap Filipino movies) it’s so corny.

7. Type of music that you hate: I can’t say heavy rock coz I’ve been there. I guess, all songs written and composed by Lito Camo. Seriously speaking, I could really kill that guy.

8. Household chore that you hate: Cleaning the bathroom.

9. Things you hate about the world: Selfishness and Greed. Everything starts there.

10. Things that you hate about yourself: ~I really hate it when I forget something. ~I hate my hair. It’s like bad hair day… everyday! ~I can’t use high heels. I just can’t do it. ~My skin gets itchy when I wear necklace or bracelets. ~Sometimes I hate looking at my fat ass haha. ~I hate my glasses. Don’t like wearing them but I need them.

I think I’ll stop here. I’m late for work. (Good excuse huh?)
