Yaya blues
I thought my yaya blues were solved when the sister of my mom's house help became my daughter's yaya few months back. Since they were sisters, it would be easy for them to see each other, since we go to my parent's house every other week. But unfortunately, our house help asked us if she can leave because she wants to go to work with her cousin. I was surprised because all we knew she would stay with us longer. Ever her sister (my mom's house help) was confuse. Since we respect her decision, we let her go. Good thing, I found two house helps as replacements. Our old house help just left and now I feel I'm back to square one. I just hope things will work out with these two new house help.

Dakota Fanning on New Moon
I can't help but search for updates on the upcoming New Moon movie. What can I do? I'm still a fan. I was thrilled about this news and look at Dakota! Woah. I'm sure she'll fit the character "Jane" in the Twilight series - New Movie. I can't wait!

Dakota Fanning may not be saying much about joining the cast of the Twilight sequel, but yesterday she did confirm she's in talks to play Jane!As I exclusively reported last week, the 14-year-old child star has been offered the role of the young killer bloodsucker in the movie adaptation of New Moon, the second book in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling teenage vampire series.
"It's definitely possible. I really hope it works out," Fanning told Hitfix.com while promoting her latest flick Push. "It would be a really fantastic experience I'm sure."
Director Chris Weitz is so confident that Fanning is right for the part, he offered it to without even an audition. Filming of the much-anticipated flick begins in March in the U.S. and Italy.
A member of the deadly Volturi, Jane is described in a casting notice as a petite blonde with a "Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises."
An online petition to cast Fanning as Jane has seen a huge bump in signatures ever since my story broke on Wednesday.
A rep for the studio, Summit Entertainment, reportedly confirmed Fanning is one of the actors being considered for the role.
If it happens, Fanning will join returning stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, among others. New Moon is set to open in November. Article from Yahoo! Movies.

TGIF
There's a lot reasons to be thankful today and one of them is my MIL. She came home from the States last week to attend my daughter's birthday. It's their first time to see each other personally and the little kiddo is so thrilled. Now we have a party this Sunday and all our relatives will be here. I can't wait.Labels: TGIF
weight loss
I'm sure I gained a lot of pounds after the Christmas season but I am too scared to look at the weighting scale. Christmas has been exempted to my diet because who can't resist all those delicious food during parties right? I mean, even I prepared scrumptious meals too. And who can resist my mom's spaghetti and hot chocolate on New Year's eve. It's like I can smell the hot chocolate early afternoon on new year's eve. But Christmas is over and summer is fast approaching. I think I need Anoretix to cut down all this fat.

Happy Birthday!
What a day today! It's my daughter's 3rd birthday and our day went well. Morning--We visited the church to say our Thank You's, ate out at lunch, grab some groceries, took an afternoon nap, packed our things and went to Jollibee for her Birthday party. Not everyone I invited was there but I was so thankful to all who came. Their time and presence really means a lot to us.
We opened the gifts at home, cleaned up, watched the video from the party, talked a little and said our good nights. Now the little angel is sleeping beside my MIL and FIL. And it's time also for me to hit the sack too but I don't know why I'm still blogging when I said to myself that, "I would only check some stuff online... blah blah blah..." tsk... Anyway.... I am truly thankful for this day because the little kiddo in gaining more in life. My wish is for her to be happy always.

Happy Thursday
What a day this is. I only had a few hours of sleep but it's okay because I can't help but get butterflies in my stomach. In a few hours from now, we'll be going to the airport to fetch my MIL. And also, I got the goodies from my mom for the little kiddo's birthday this Saturday. So I'll be packing the goodies tomorrow and I hope these are enough for the party. Man! I'm just so happy and excited today. More upadates to come.

Birthday preps
I hardly prepared anything this year for the little angel's birthday. Since we'll having the party at Jollibee--food and venue is not a problem anymore. We already saw the little kiddo's dress and we are very excited. Even I got excited. We're going to see the dress this Friday when my MIL comes home from the States. It's the time first the MIL will meet the little angel and we are all very excited about it too. My mom also bought the items for loot bags and all I need to do is just buy candies. And my sister finished the banner last night and now my other sister will print and bring it on Saturday. I'm so lucky to have supportive family hehehe. All I need to do is just finalize the loot bags, goodies bags, prizes and the pabitin and I'm all done. Three days to go...

I always liked to join online communities because not only I get real answers from real questions, but I also gain online friends. And some of those online buddies I just met online are still my friends today. Online communities and forums is like a little organization which all the members shares the same interest. And everyone in the communities help each other by sharing vital information about a certain topic, FYI, fix about a certain item, unit, product and more. Sometimes experts also shares their experience—good and bad so that everyone can learn and prevent mistakes from happening. I remembered when I had problems with my digital camera, all I did was search for the best review site and just read all the best fix they provided. It helped me a lot, not to mention it saved me time, effort and money by not going to the repair shop.
The Internet has been my first priority of resources. When my sister asked me about investing on a business, I quickly checked some reliable online resources that we could use just in case my sister ever pursue getting into her own business. I would voluntarily join her and invest as well and that gave us an idea. Not only we were interested in investing on business, but also we were interested in investing on the safety of our family. To which family insurance came into view. I immediately joined insurance forum online to check and take note all the things we need to consider in getting insurance for our family. I know I helped my sister a lot especially with big decisions like this. If I were in her shoes, I would feel the same way. I hope everything would turn out the way we planned it to be.

Friday's gig
Friday's gig went smooth. Marry Me Amy helped my sister play couple of intermission songs at her boss' thanksgiving party at the Philippine Army Officer's Clubhouse. We saw new faces and met a lot of musicians. The fun part for me is to watch the other band play and of course, while we dance! LOL. We received good feedbacks from them and I'll sure use those inspiring words to keep me motivated with this group. Anyway, thanks to my sister for inviting us. More pictures *here*

Time with the family
Me and the rest of the family loved going out especially to new places we've never been to. We keep in mind to relax and have fun despite our busy schedules. Quality time with the family is still the best for us. I remembered when we went to this new mall, me and little kiddo admired the wall fountains they have on the side of the main entrance. It makes the establishment looks more relaxed and fun to look at.

Holiday's over
I'm not at my best right now because I'm kinda disoriented with my schedule. Today's the first day of my night shift but I called in sick. No, I'm not sick but because the house help hasn't arrive yet. The house help asked to take a vacation before new year and promised to be back on the first week of January. She'll be back, we know but we do not have anyone to take of the little angel now because everybody's schedule is back to normal again. I started our laundry at 8:30am and believe it or not--I finished at around 6pm. I'm so exhausted. I think I washed all the hubby's jeans, sweaters, uniforms, t-shirts, little angel's pajamas, bed sheets, pillow case and also my clothes. I haven't cleaned the house yet because I ran out of time and I'm so tired already. I really hope the house help will be here on Wednesday or before Friday because we have a gig and I can't tag the little angel with me.
Again... there's so many things to do but there's always so little time. Priority now is the little angel's birthday next week. I admit that I'm not prepared. We haven't visited the photo studio yet so no plans for the customized invites or the banner, I haven't bought anything for the loot bags and prizes and I haven't prepared her dress yet. I might go out when the house help arrives.
I'm currently composing my New Year's resolution and I'll be posting it when I'm done. Can't believe the holiday is finally over but this year's Christmas was definitely merrier than ever! We get to spend Christmas and New Year with my two sisters here and I received unexpected gifts which were really listed in my wish list. I love Christmas.
But there's one thing I want and I pray it'll come true this year. Let's see.

Diaper bag
I still haven't bought my second niece a Christmas gift and it's really very hard to choose. It seems that my sister already provided her everything what she needs, like clothes, toys and all. So I was thinking of helping my sister provide for her instead. And then I stumbled on Ju Ju Be which they sell fashionable diaper bags. I was very amused and thinking of getting one for my daughter too. I really liked the designs they offer. So I might get two bags instead of one.
