Watched Fast 6 at Shang last night c/o Nuffnang and Kettle Korn. They served snacks on the side while guests were waiting (fruit tart, muffin, sandwiches and soda). We had our photo booth souvenir which is cool. Unfortunately, everybody had to leave the give-away kettle korn popcorn outside the cinema which was a hassle and delayed the movie. Clearly there was a misunderstanding between the event organizers and the cinema admin. Good thing everybody coorparative. We got seats a little bit close to the screen which made us a little uncomfortable. Have to remember not to get seats from letter C to the front.
The movie was totally awesome. We really wanted to see it again! Though I'm a little bit disappointed because they had to kill two characters that I like (spoiler alert).
It was again an awesome movie experience. Thank you Nuffnang.
We watched Prometheus last night with my sister, sister's bf and hubby. We were convinced by my sister this is great movie and it was. I admit that I was once obsessed with aliens, if you are, this is a-must see movie for you. The story line, inclines with the past existing movies and there's a possible chance for a part 2. Just see the movie and you'll what I mean. Graphics and special effects are a killer. I super love the first part where you can see a lot of breath taking views.
Yup! We watched Avengers for the second time and with my sisters this time. I just want to stare at Captain America and Thor! Handsomeness to the highest level lol! Fight scenes still rocks! Anyway, it's my first weekend off for this month and I'm having a blast already. Thank you Lord.
One day to go... I'm sure everybody's looking forward to this saga. I might watch it next week with the zitros. For now, let's just enjoy the behind the scenes footage.

My sister informed me about the new NEW MOON trailer and after watching, it made my head spin and realize that November is still more than a month away! I'm sure it's worth the wait. For now, let's enjoy the new trailer and wow! it's way better than the first movie!
My sister suggested me to watch this film and when I did, I instantly fell in love with the characters and the soundtrack of the film. The two main character are musicians in real life and they are very good. One of my favorite part was when they jam for the first time in a local music store... uhmmm.. better see the film.
An (unnamed) Guy is a Dublin guitarist/singer-songwriter who makes a living by fixing vacuum cleaners in his Dad's Hoover repair shop by day, and singing and playing for money on the Dublin streets by night. An (unnamed) Girl is a Czech who plays piano when she gets a chance, and does odd jobs by day and takes care of her mom and her daughter by night. Guy meets Girl, and they get to know each other as the Girl helps the Guy to put together a demo disc that he can take to London in hope of landing a music contract. During the same several day period, the Guy and the Girl work through their past loves, and reveal their budding love for one another, through their songs. SOURCE
My sister gave me a audio book copy of this novel last year but I never get to finish it. Now, it's a movie! I wish I could find time to finish the novel too.
The Time Travelers Wife is based on the best-selling book about a love that transcends time. Clare (Rachel McAdams) has been in love with Henry (Eric Bana) her entire life. I love end of the world disaster movies like Independence day and Day after tomorrow to name a few so there's no reason for me to not to watch this. I'm counting the days already.

Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa's District 9 as the world's nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9. SOURCE
Wednesday was movie time for zitrobellez. We watched THE PROPOSAL, ate dinner and had coffee at Starbucks in Trinoma.
You should see the Popcorn challenge we ordered at Tater's. It's HUGE!!! I am sooo loving the White cheese flavored popcorn. Try it!
Oh yeah! We bought the limited Starbucks tumbler. I waited for this tumbler for 2 months so I panicked and bought two more for my closest friends. It was fun night and I hope to have more movie night out with my dearest sisters. Oh! We miss our two sisters in Dubai too.
The story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist and a sheltered young cellist who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger, August uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth. SOURCE
I watched this last weekend because my office mates said it's a good movie. Now I can't get over August Rush. It's a COOL movie if you ask me. I even downloaded the soundtrack and been playing it for a week now. It's amazing what music does to people. I love it.
After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. This is a great movie for kids. We watched this yesterday at SM North Edsa. It was 3D so we had to wear glasses but the little kiddo refuse to wear them because it's too big for her. Besides, I never really like the 3D part especially in SM because the screen is too small and wearing the glasses makes it even smaller and much darker. Movie pass fee is much expensive because of the 3D feature. Next time, if the film is on 3D, we might as well to go to Trinoma instead because of the spacious movie theater house, comfortable seats and a bigger screen. Anyway, the little kiddo enjoyed the day so I'll stop complaining.
Here's another up coming movie that all kids will enjoy.
Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), and the rest of their toy box friends are dumped in a children's day-care center when their owner, Andy (now a young adult) departs for college.Source
I have the original Twilight DVD and the Edward action figure at home -- care of my sister hehehe! I'm just borrowing it from her. I'll give it back... I pwomisssseee... =B
I got this from Ruth's page and I can't help it! I have to post this too on my site tsk tsk! I can feel the New Moon excitement as November approaches. This new New Moon book cover brings more life to the story. I love it! I don't have the Twilight Saga books and I still don't have plans to buy the set (yet). I plan to buy the director's notebook but I'm still waiting for the price to go down hahaha -- kuripot! For now, I'm loving the thrill of waiting for the movie to come out.
We agreed to watch Transformers after shift but when we got Eastwood cinema, best seats taken! What can I say? Today's the first day of showing. I'm sure there are lots of people out there who wants to be the first one to watch the movie. Oh well, better plan our visit or maybe buy tickets ahead of time. Good thing, hubby and I are still going to watch this Sunday -- can't wait!
Here's another film that we're waiting to come out so we can go watch with the little kiddo.
The film revolves around a team of trained secret agent animals: guinea pigs Darwin (Sam Rockwell), Juarez (Penélope Cruz), Blaster (Tracy Morgan), mole Speckles (Nicolas Cage), and fly Mooch (Edwin Louis). The team takes on a mission for the US government to stop evil billionaire Leonard Saber, who plans to destroy the world with household appliances. Before they can accomplish their mission, the government shuts them down and they are sentenced to a pet shop. Darwin, Juarez, Blaster, Speckles, Mooch, and their new friends Hurley (Jon Favreau) and hamster Bucky (Steve Buscemi) must escape the cage to defeat the villain, stop his threat, and save the world.
