Picture of the Week
Me and my colleague sometimes talk about what to wear next day to work. We came up with "Off-shoulder day", because the off shoulder style is starting to make a trend again. Good thing I have one top which was suppose to be my mom's. My sister bought it for her but it was too big so my mom gave it to me. H&M for P200 (sale). It's keeper right.
This was taken inside the rest room, after a 2-hour meeting... and we are so ready to go to work.

Picture of the Week
Busy at work means eating my dinner on the work station--discreetly. Yes, we are not allowed to eat in front of the computer. Since I need to be on the floor to lead the team with a rumbling tummy, this is what I did. Brown rice with steamed pork roll (embutido) with my cute banana ketchup container. I know it looks gross because they all mixed in together hahaha. But if you haven't eaten anything yet, this will definitely do!

Flickr is the place to be
I remember how I maintain all my 3 sites before. With complete domain names, weekly updates, paid posts and pictures. When I logged-in today, I was surprised to see all my banners are gone! Being out dated with free image hosting sites, I searched and searched online. Then I stumbled with the flicker site. I know I had an account before and I tried to recover it. Thank you Flickr! I can access again my photos and I was surprised on how much pictures I had in there and it's STILL THERE. I love you Flickr. Now my banners are up!

New Role
I finally updated my profile on UW and started submitting proposals. From all 29 projected clients, I finally got a reply last night. Everything is new to me that's why I'm going through baby steps and I think I'm doing good so far. I am learning and that's important. Anyway, the job is about writing articles and I was a little nervous when I number of articles to be submitted every week. Since this is my starting point, I took the challenge head on. I submitted my resume and signed contract. Now, I think to carry a pen and a pad wherever I go.
I also got one declined proposal due to lack of experience, but that will not stop me from pushing myself forward until I get the title that I'm aiming for.
For now, I'm digesting and savoring my new title--Content Writer. Wish me luck!

Additional Online Task
Today I updated my Upwork profile, work experiences and started submitting proposals. I hoping to bag additional work load so I can earn extra. I've the Virtual Careers by JH and I was inspired to try it out. I have a laptop, fast internet and blog writing experience so it's worth the shot. Honestly, I am knew to this kind of work and I am still trying to familiarized myself on the How-to's, Do's and Don'ts. I know I have a lot to learn in this new field and hopefully I also be a work-from-home-mothers who are featured in the book. Let's see how this goes.

AUGUST
Month of August feels like rain. When I check old posts from my social media account, it's all typhoon and school suspension. I hope this year we'll get not so many typhoon. But I would appreciate a little drizzle every and then though. And in a couple of weeks, it's gonna be the start of that Filipino long Christmas feel.
