Trick or Treat later this afternoon at the Clubhouse. I just came home from work this morning and hopefully I'll have the power to take the kiddos to the party. First of, sleep at least a couple of hours and then hair and make-up time. Lanna will be Harley Quinn this year and Baby LJ will be uhm... pink skeleton haha! And me? Of course, I'll be the mommy skeleton! Happy Trick or Treatin' everyone!

DECEMBER 30 - Our second child arrived. I was really planning to give birth January 2016 but due to pre-eclampsia complications, my OB had to ask me to go to ER. I really tried my best---bed rest, lots of fluids, fruits, wheat bread and all the good stuff but my BP was just so high this past week. I had to take meds for high blood but it did not work. Today, my sister had to buy just this one item in Trinoma and she insisted that she will be quick. I thought what the heck, let's go...knowing that I'm due anytime. So while she was doing her business, I decided to go to the clinic and have my urine tested. This procedure was also over due. So me and my daughter waited for the results and my bacteria count was high! Also had my BP taken and the nurse was speechless. She just said, call your OB mommy. So I send a text message to my OB and she reply, go to the ER. I was stunned. So we went home and loaded the car with the things we need. My sister and I were planning to eat dinner at home with our take-away pasta, but I guess change of plans.

At ER, the nurse said they were expecting me because my OB called them already. Okay it was straight to the labor room for me. There, the resident OB monitored my stats and this kind and pretty nurse was very friendly. My OB arrived and they talked. Apparently, my stats did not improve. After 3 dosage of sulfur (I think), BP still high. They decided emergency CS because they were seeing patterns on the baby's heart beat. A lot of happened and it was painful. Not labor pains but meds inserted thru IV, antibiotic injected and the catheter. It happened to fast, and at this time, I was having a hard time to breath. So you can imagine that I was a little bit in panic mode. At 10pm, I wheeled over to the operating room and at 10:30pm, our second has arrived. I was half awake when she came out so I only heard a soft and quiet cry. The doctor finally showed me baby LJ and I laughed a little because I thought I saw my eldest born again. They took a photo of us and she was wheeled over to the pedia section for screening. I stayed at the recovery for a few hours. While waiting, the nurse brought little LJ again for some bonding time. I was so happy.

Finally, I was brought to my room to rest. Little LJ stayed t NICU because of minor complications. So I had to go down every now and then to be with her and try to feed her. It was hard to do all the paper work while being the patient at the same time but all the hard work paid off. We were finally sent home on the fourth day. So we spend the New Year at the hospital.

We still need to complete the antibiotic for the next couple of days but being at home with my little LJ is HAPPINESS.

Woke up 5:25am and helped the kiddo prepare to go to school. Had a heavy breakfast and started sorting the stocked papers on the upper shelves, and worked my way down. There's so much paper to throw and sort, plus dust along the way. My mom and house-help joined me when it was time to clean the windows and other shelves.  I made sure all are well-dusted and clean. I sorted the books in the wall shelf and made sure current books and school supplies are within reach. The house-help applied floor wax, while me and my mom finished the TV rack. We were literally covered in dust. I insisted we take a break (lunch) and resumed after. We put up new curtains and sheets. I was so relieved to see the room so clean. I took a bath and turned on the AC. My foot was so sore and my back hurts from all the walking. Had a power nap for an hour or so and I felt energized. My foot was not sore anymore. I had a couple of minutes just lying down and doing nothing---enjoying the silence. I imagine myself with a little girl on the bed. I really can't wait.

I had a couple of minutes of facetime with the hubby and mother-in-law. Then at 5pm, the kiddo arrived from school. My mom insist that we go to the mall again. I bought extra pillow, so my hubby will have pillows to use when he arrives next year and a bed sheet for the kiddo's double deck bed.

I had a really productive rest day this week. Next week I plan to sort my make-up drawer and kiddo's study table. Then maybe start sorting and throwing the expired ingredients I left in my baking supply container. I really miss baking and hopefully I can resume baking soon.

It's my rest day today and I was very excited for my monthly OB check-up this morning, only to find out that my OB can't make it and a reliever will arrive. It was already 12noon, so I decided to have lunch first. I called my mom and had lunch with her at Bigoli. I ate a plate of Italian spaghetti with garlic. It was heaven. I made up my mind to just go ahead with the check-up. My questions with my OB will have to wait until next month. Besides, we have no work-ups and I was really feeling fine. So after that, I went to see my mom, who was already started shopping. I  bought new born baby stuff--white tie-sides, pj's, towel, recieving blanket, wipes, 2 feeding bottles etc. It's been awhile since I went shopping for baby stuff and I wanted to have the must-have's only. My dad, along with the kiddo fetched us aroung 4pm and decided to hit the other mall. So I was able to buy the tub and comforter there. We had dinner afterwards and went home. I gathered items on the baby and showed it to hubby on facetime. My excitement went up a notch because I really really wanted to see baby Lj already. So tommorrow is cleaning up time...
