It's a windy Monday today! Leaves and dusts flying and scattered all over the driveway. Thank God I have the day off today. More of me watching TV, sleeping, playing with *Lj*'s new toys and maybe later hubby and I will watch a movie. Thanks to my free movie pass from work.
Rewind to last Friday.... I went to work that night and should be out Saturday morning but more stress at work, I stayed for another 4-hour for the meeting. I finally got home at 11:30am to fix my things, eat lunch, and rest. I think I only had a 5-minute shut eye. After that, I got up, bathe and fix *Lj*'s things... Then off we go to attend the Christening of my friend's son--Cornell Blues. Such a cute cute boy. After the church ceremony and reception, hubby dropped me off to work. Yes work again! I didn't sleep... at all! I can't imagine how I'd survived that night, but I did.
Sunday morning... I slept for 4-hours. We then fixed our things again and at 12noon hit the road to go to Las Piñas for my
pamankin's 3rd birthday. It's Williane Amandine's 3rd swimming party! Talked about
bonggang party. Amandine always gets full blast parties... All in all... it was a great day yesterday. *Lj* enjoyed every minute of it.

Just finished uploading Amandine's 3rd bday pictures. Now, I'm trying to download pictures from the sister in Dubai. I already saw couple of shots. They seem to enjoy the Desert Safari trip. Wish we could visit you there... Uhmm maybe someday. Okay got to check those photos...

On words with *Lj*
I have been teaching *Lj* simple words that she can easily remember. I call them "Key words". Some are very very common but it really helped me a lot. Listed are words she uses up to this day…
Mommy – she can say this very clear.
Daddy – this too.
Ta – means Tita.
Lo and La – means Lolo and Lola.
Lie down – she can say this but kinda bulol pa.
Tyan-tyan – means tummy.
Bum-Bum – means butt.
No – she can say this with matching crossed arms.
Mamam – means water or milk.
Papish – her Dog stuffed toy.
Pooh-pooh – means poop.
V – means TV.
Wow! – she appreciates what she sees.
Pa – means isa pa. ( showing her fore finger).
The rest are all extensive baby talks which I could not YET translate. But I am trying my very best to interpret them. She always (baby) talks to me with complete facial expression, as if she wants my opinion, comment or approval. I just say, yes baby or okay.
I gave her a pen and a card board paper the other day, coz I was curious if she's gonna be a righty or a lefty--just like me. I showed her how to scribble and she instantly smiled. I gave her the pen and she took it using her right hand. She tried to write and smiled at me. Then she transferred the pen on her left hand and wrote lines again. Maybe we still can't determine at this early age huh? Excited me. Anyway, I asked her to sit down so she can have a comfortable access on the paper. She sat down, but her smile disappeared. She said, "Pooh-pooh!" And then I checked, yeah there's poop alright.

Just an update…
We will be going to a wedding tomorrow (Hubby's cousin). It's a Christian Wedding again. But what I'm excited about is the dress I bought yesterday at People Are People in Gateway. I think the dress is worth the price, and most important part of all is I look thin in it! Haha! Pictures to follow…

I or Eye?
At the tender age of 1, I was able to teach my daughter some tricks hehe. She would answer me whenever I asked her, "Where's mommy?" and she would say "mommy!", looking at me... "Where's daddy?", she would shout, "daddy!" as if trying to call her daddy. Same goes with tita, lolo and lola...
She can also point some part of her face. Like "where's your nose?", and she point her nose. "Where's your lips?" and then she would pout her lips. Same goes with her eyes, ears, tyan-tyan (tummy) and bam-bam (butt)...
One day, I was trying to teach her how to say "i love you". I kept saying "i love you" repeatedly so she can mimick my words carefully. Then I got frustrated, I decided to teach her word for word.... When I said, "i" (say it like--aaayyyyy...) twice, she paused for a moment then pointed her "eye".

Looking for...
Everybody knows how hard it is to loose weight after birth. And I've been trying my hardiest to get my pre-pregnancy body back. I lost a total of 20lbs last month and I'm on a strict diet right now. I haven't checked my weigh lately but I can see curves on the side already. I have to work more on the puson area.
The only problem I have right now is where I can get (buy) a 2-pcs swim suit. Our company outing is within 3 weeks. I'm confident that I would get a pair before the outing. Pero lagi kong nakikita sa mall puro skimpy bikins—ayoko nun! I remembered last Saturday we went to the mall, I asked my sister kung bagay ba sakin yung 2-pcs… sabi ba naman sakin—" Please don't scare the kids!" hahahaha! Kaya nagkaron tuloy ako ng second thoughts of wearing one. Pero hindi ba mas panget pag one-pc?
Thanks to FeistyMomma! Nabuhayan ako ng loob! I saw her wearing a very cute 2-pcs swim suit… sexy! I really liked the color!
Sana makahanap rin ako para sakin…. Any suggestions?

Missed PMN Lunch Out + Sleepy today
I totally missed PMN mommy lunch out the other day. By reading the updates from all the attendees, I'm sure everyone had a great time! Looking forward to the next PMN mommy lunch out. I'm sure there will be another meeting coming very soon!

So so sleepy today... Saturday, my mom and I brought Lanna to her Pedia. Then late in the afternoon, we went to TriNoMa. I was happy to see Lanna very excited and enjoyed every moment. We rode the carousel for the first time. Funny... Lanna doesn't want to stay at one horse! She keeps on pointing other horses and vacant rides... That's why we kept going to every one of the vacant spots. So imagine us palipat-lipat! That made me dizzy--very dizzy! We ate dinner and walked some more while my sister looked for a cute blouse for birthday. While walking, Lanna and I would run and play hide and seek. And she would laugh out loud every time. We had fun! Before going home, we bought blizzard ice cream (Diary Queen)--Mud pie for me! Yummy! Next time, I'll try the Pecan Cluster. Lanna fell asleep on the way home.
We went to church 6AM, Sunday morning! I packed Lanna's things coz we're gonna go to my Ate's place in LP. My Ate and her husband conducted free "Art Lessons" in their subd. The short course ran 4 weeks (4 consecutive Sundays-9AM) and it was their last day yesterday. My sister, Misiaoh was the "guest teacher" for the day. Lanna kept walking and running, in and out of the multi-purpose hall. Gosh, talk about exercise! Anyway, seeing the kids there-I knew they had fun learning and making the Father's day card for their dads, which my sister taught them. I helped Ate prepare snacks for kids. It was fun! Then we had lunch at their place.
After lunch, we watched "Blades of Glory". The movie was hilarious! Just like Zoolander. Anyway, Lanna enjoyed playing her cousin's toys--ang dami kase promise ! hehehe! Then around 4pm we went to SM South Mall and ate dinner at Chef de Angelo. Yummy Pizza! We bought a high-chair for Lanna so we can train her to eat her veggies. Yes, I'm having a hard time feeding her now coz she's so active. Buying the high-chair is a sign that I'm drop dead serious about it hahaha.. serious daw oh.
We arrived home late then I had to fix my things coz I have to go to work very early the next day. I slept late, coz I wasted my time looking for my damn cellphone. I think I left it in the car.
Can't wait to get home and catch some sleep........ ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Been blog hoppin' recently when I caem across this cool site from Ann's blog...

I joined this network yesterday and my membership was approved today. I'm so excited, coz I can get to post there already. Been doing some catching-up blog hop reading lately... It's seem that all the members there share the same thing--we are all moms. I love to read their posts, journey in life with their kids, everyday routine etc. And what's interesting--anyone around the world can join but you need to be a mom (obvious) and a regular blogger.
