Tagged
I was tagged recently by a friend who we shared the stage one Christmas party. My Miranda--our all-girl band (sort of) hehehe. Even though it was just one night, I feel a connection with the girls and that's what I missed in a band. The mutual connection sharing one passion--music. I miss the sipra part when I need to learn a song, preparing what gear to use (ex. Guitar with pigtronix infinity looper), calling the studio for jam reservation and the impromptu song arrangements especially with Marry Me Amy. We really had that connection. I hope I can find another group or maybe get back together? Time will tell.

TGIF!
I'm excited every Friday because I have weekend day-offs. We're going to Bulacan tomorrow and I look forward on lunch. FIL serves the best lunch. It's also payday-friday so I expect traffic when I get off from work. I'll probably listen to good music just in case I'll stuck in traffic. I'm not in hurry anyway. Enjoy the weekend guys!

London calling...
London is calling... for my sister and her hubby that is. They are set to fly to London this month for a grand tour. Too bad their kids will stay behind but I'm sure they will still enjoy. I look forward for pictures and stories when they come back... and also pasalubong!

Birthday party!
It's Papsie's birthday party at Aberdeen court tonight. Everything should be ready. I finished frosting the cupcakes yesterday and final touches will be at the venue later this afternoon. I will fetch the kiddo from school, get some stuff at home (and course, bachuchai) and we'll head straight to the venue because I don't want to get stuck in traffic with the kids in tow.
Kiddo and I are suppose to perform a song but I backed out. Yes I did. It's soo not me. I just got so busy this week with work and the cupcakes, that I had no time to practice. I feel bad. I really wanna make-up with the kiddo because she really did practice... for that I'm proud of her.
Lately, I was thinking of getting a pick-up for my acoustic guitar. I'm suppose to use it but I got worried that they might not hear the guitar clearly if we'll just point a microphone to it. I was checking on guitar pick-ups on musiciansfriend.com sales and really looking forward on buying one. There's another event coming up and I really wanna play with the kiddo this time.
