Christmas gifts
I told my mom yesterday that it's only a month away before Christmas. She was surprised how quickly the days pass by. Me too actually. 4 weeks till Christmas and I haven't done my list yet. So to save time and effort, I come up with a plan. Make a list and purchase a bulk order. I plan to get the
roger & gallet because they have a variety of shower gel and nice persona bath soap, but I'm still looking for other options. Or maybe, another batch for the kids will do. I hope I can get everything done before done.

Earn extra
I got good news. Kiddo's 7th birthday is in two months time and we already had out talk on what to do on her birthday. It's gonna be "Adventure Time" themed party at the clubhouse. Actually she's more excited about her costume and I'm more concern on the expenses hahahaha. Recently, I've been trying to squeeze the baking time on my rest days just so try if I will earn from it. It's not so good for now, but I'm still keeping my hopes up of course. Then the other day, MIL told me that she's come home this new year, to attend the kiddo's birthday! That's even more good news. Kiddo doesn't know it yet and I think MIL planned it to be a surprise. I wonder if I can ask MIL to buy stuff from the US and maybe I can re-sell them here. I have news that the demand of
cohiba cigars sale here is high. But I'm still checking on other stuff/goods as well. Crossing my fingers because I really need to earn extra.

@ Room 362 SLMC
It's our second night here at St. Lukes Medical Center. The kiddo's been complaining severe headache and high fever since Tuesday night. We decided to go to the doctor yesterday morning. Several tests were done and the doctor's diagnosis: UTI. The doctor also gave us referral for admission because the kiddo vomited like more than 10 times already. So we arrived here last night with our bags and the kiddo said, she's more than ready. IV, skin test---she didn't complain. She didn't even cry. That's my girl. She's sleeping more comfortable now compared to yesterday. If everything goes well, we might be home on Sunday. Thank you Lord.

Gift for her (and me)
I've been counting the days before Christmas lately because I do not want to encounter another panic buying just like the previous year and the year before that. Come to think of it. It seems like I'm having a bad case of mental forgetfulness when it comes to the holiday season. I don't know if it's just a matter of in denial that it's almost Christmas already or maybe I'm just plain busy hahaha. Maybe I am both. But this year, I'm trying to avoid that scenario so here I am browsing for gift ideas until I stumble upon this
japanese puzzles site, and wow, they have a lot of good and attractive product. I felt like I wanna give my friends and family one hahaha! Since I do not have that big budget, I'd probably get one for my mom. Because she's always (I mean ALWAYS) there for me and my family when we needed help. She is special and I wanna give her something special. And of course, I'd probably buy an extra for myself because I think I really did a great job in keeping my family together.

Year end
Christmas is again fast approaching and everybody's feeling that Christmas spirit again. Number one is my mom. She already set-up the Christmas tree even before Halloween hahaha! November 1 is officially the Christmas here because that's the time they play Christmas songs everywhere. Feels weird but yes it's true. And I remember, during time me and the band would be really (really) on rehearsals due to gigs. We even got a good slot at the World Bazaar two years ago (I think). They had the most kick-ass sound system, complete with chauvet motion drapes. Cool right? And the sound technicians were also awesome. The sound was so good, we even got plenty of good feedback. Anyway, here I am reminiscing again. Hopefully I can get just one gig before the year ends.

The Star-Spangled Banner became the US national anthem in 1931. Prior to that, it was My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” which had the same melody as Britian’s national anthem God Save the Queen, which is based on music written by John Bull in 1619. Bull’s melody has been used more than any song in national anthems.

Music scene
It's my first weekend off for this month and I wanted to spend quality time (as much as possible) with my family and friends. Yesterday, I went into our music equipment because I wanted to train myself on rhythm guitar because I'm planning a duo with a friend vocalist and probably get a gig or two this coming Christmas season. I noticed our gear needs more love. I feel bad about not being active again on music because of so many reasons that I cannot count anymore. Oh well. Good thing hubby's been reminding to get into the music scene again. If this goes well, we might turn from acoustic duo to a full rock band someday. Oh I miss the golden days of rock n' roll--familiar faces, beer, rock music, cigarettes, gig bags and Meinl cymbals.

Bahamas Postcard
My sister received a postcard from a friend yesterday. We usually stick the postcard on the fridge so my sister would see it when she arrives from work. Out of nowhere, the kiddo asked me if we can go to BAHAMAS! LOL
