Busy
My mom's been very busy with the new house because they have a little over 5 days to stay on the apartment and bedroom is still not finished yet. I really wanted to help her but I have problems to settle on my side first. Hubby is still waiting for the doctor's appointment and we both pray it's not big because we cannot afford to throw money especially school time is approaching. We've packed half of our things already and probably in 2 weeks time, we'll be moving as well. I can't wait to decorate our own bed room and I'm sure our family room will be as awesome as we pictured it in our minds. I'm imagining those
metal switchplates will be perfect outside the house and a more mellow-plastic-like plates inside.
But first, off to hubby's doctor for that appointment...

Kidney Stones
It's been a stressful for us today. We've been going back and forth from the clinic and hospital since this early today. It all started when hubby woke up with a back ache this morning. He immediately went to the clinic to see the doctor. Hubby was already with the doctor when I arrived at the clinic. Hubby got a shot of
buscopan for the spasm and that calmed him down. We waited several hours in the ultra sound diagnostic center in FEU hospital. It was 1pm when we got the results and went back to the clinic to see the doctor for follow-up check-up. Unfortunately, they found a stone in the kidney area that causes the pain. And of course, everything boils down to his diabetic problem. Doctor patiently explained to us all we need to know about the decease and how to prevent it. The doctor advised us to
read more and be cautious especially the contents of the food we will eat. Diabetes is a very hard decease to fight and on our case, we still have time to prevent it. Hubby is willing to undergo diet, low salt and low sugar. Hopefully, he'll be back on track in a few months.
So we were advised to see a Urologist and unfortunately, the doctor was out of town. So we called it a day and went home instead. This was already 8 in the evening. Hubby is now sleeping quietly and hopefully he doesn't wake-up in pain again. He'll go to the doctor on Thursday and hopefully by then we'll know if he needs to take additional meds for the stone or zap it. Let's see. For now, I ask for your prayers. Thank you.

Core Group @ Little Angels Home
Watta weekend it is! Kiddo and I went with the rest of the CORE GROUP for an outreach program. April 14: We arrived at Little Angels Homes in Tagaytay with pledges, donation goods and Jollibee lunch for the kids and staff of the orphanage. We let the kids play and eat. The kiddo even gave away the loot bags to the kids in the orphanage.
I brought the kiddo with me because I wanted to let her understand how lucky she is to have a mom and dad with a home and food on the table. Hopefully, she'll bring with her this lesson selflessness and willing to help when she grows up.
~ CORE GROUP @ Little Angels Home, Tagaytay ~ After the event, we had lunch at Mahogany, picked-up some grocery at Robinson's and went to Woodsborough log cabin to spend the night. We had a chance to bond with each other and had a lot of me-and-kiddo-time too!
Next day, woke-up early to bath and prepared to go. We had coffee at Bag of Beans and attend mass at Lourdes Parish. Then straight to Picnic groove for our picnic lunch and the kids went horse back riding after. We also bought pasalubong at Rowena's on our way home.
~
Me-and-kiddo-time @ Woodsborough Log Cabin ~We really had a great and meaningful experience last weekend. We Thank you GOD everyday for all the blessings.

Saving up for the tube
Payday. That day everybody's been waiting for every month. I know I am because I want to save up so I can buy those tube amps that I'm dreaming about my whole life. I know we have amps already but I wanted to have at least one tube amp because reviews from my friends, it's really kick-ass. Another is, I wanted to try the sovtek tube that I saw online. Reviews says. it's very reliable. So you ask what's next on my list right? You guessed it right! A Warwick 5-string bass!

Home
I see a lot of manufactured homes for sale in our area. I know we need our own home and it's very tempting to purchase a unit. Some offer townhouses and condominium. My parents recently purchased a townhouse somewhere in QC. I haven't checked the house yet but I'm looking forward to of course. I wonder when will we have our own Post Options house...

Montemar
What I love summer is the beach! The sand on my feet and salty water on my skin. It's like an instant spa for the whole body. Montemar--this is our favorite family destination since we were still kids. Now, I brought my kid there. I took this solo shot (below) because I remembered my dad would make us stand by the shore and pose like this too. Unfortunately, I can't find my own shot.
~ Montemar Beach Resort ~I know some people doesn't like to be exposed to the sun too much, but me, I don't mind at all. Because I'm one of those lucky individuals who gets the normal skin back in a few months. So what else did I do in beach yesterday? Siesta of course!
~ Siesta by the beach ~Yup! Nothing beats a peaceful siesta by the beach, with cool salty air and waves. I really had a nice time even though we only had a day. Next stop... Magalawa Island and Palawan... soon!

New TV
We recently got this 24" LCD screen tv (
finally,
I know!). Now everybody seemed to be to go home and watch cable. I downloaded additional movies and enjoyed watching them via the media port feature. Now it's like we can't live without the tv in the house. Anyway, we plan to get a new stand from the
tv stands sale in the mall but we haven't checked it out yet. Hopefully in our free time. So when exactly is our free time? When we're always watching tv.
