Hobbies
Like most of the people, we prefer to have a sporty hobby. Not only it keeps us occupied, it also makes us healthy. Hubby is currently engage with his bike trips with his biker friends every morning. And for me, I still stick to the one I know best---jogging. We plan to join one marathon before the year ends and we're so looking forward to it.
And there's other people who prefers to collect, like my BIL, who collects toys and magic cards. Some opt to have a more expensive hobby like collecting gold bars. I know, because I saw this collection of coins and gold bars from this gold bars for sale site.

Happy Birthday!
Hubby is one happy citizen when he got this present. I gave him an ipod nano (grey) perfect for his bike trips and jogging work-up. And my sister bought this kick-ass-class-A watch band.

Four season
The weather has been shifting lately and I'm not sure if it's normal or not. It's been raining these past few days and when it rains, it pours (really pours!). And one more thing I noticed is the air, it's slightly cooler. Maybe because Christmas is fast approaching that's why the weather is changing. This reminds me of my friend in the US who posted on her wall, that four season weather requires different wardrobe, namely
madisonavemall.com for fur jackets with matching footwear.
Kelan kaya ako makaka-experience ng four season?

Acoustic Guitar
I found a very nice acoustic guitar at Crescento Store in Robinson's Palawan. I was not aware they sell Epiphone acoustic guitars in the country. Anyway, I didn't had the chance to test one of those babies, but quality it good. I was already thinking of getting a nice acoustic guitar and now I've seen the price range, I am more than decided to get one before the year ends. Anyway, I'm planning to ask my sister to check out ovation guitar musicians friend from where she is. Price there might be lower compared to where I am. And besides, ovation guitars are tested and I am more than excited to have one at home.

Preserving Mankind with Kojie.san Men
I believe in personal hygiene because this is measured on how well you take care of yourself. We always have the impression of men being care-free about themselves. At a modern age today, people tend to rush and chase time away, thus resulting to stress and other emotional difficulties.
My husband wonders why I get so much praise from other people, that I don't look like my age. What is my answer? I told him my secret. I just take care of myself. I MAKE TIME to take care of myself. with no excuses. Now he's pretty much obedient on whatever I tell him to do, regardless, because he's know it's good for him. Yup! he recently switched to
Kojie.san deo+spray because our goal is to not only maintain his confident but also to bring back that "boom" effect he had when we were in college. Or probably be like the one in the picture below hihihihihi! *wink*
However, preserving the manliness effect doesn't need to be literally clean and good-looking but also should be good especially from the inside.
We had a wedding about a month ago and we had a lot of foreign visitors. My brother-in-law's family all arrived here in the country together with some (also) foreign friends and close colleague from Dubai. We were all nervous because it was our first time to meet them. I was so surprised how much our families have in-common. From food, places to go, hobbies, and even the humor. Very lucky-go-happy, like our family! My brother-in-law's brother and dad share a noticeable sense of humor. There's no dull moment when we're all together. Such gentlemen if you ask me.
Now they are back in South Africa and we are all lucky to have new family from the other side of the world. And with no doubt, we were ALL blessed that (wedding) day, when my sister got married in the middle of the typhoon calamity in Manila and the Sun showed up from wedding venue.
~ From L: Budo (friend), Jamie (Groom), Mike (friend), Allen (BIL) and my Dad! ~
I salute Jamie, my new brother-in-law, and his family, because despite the age, nationality, or race...I see in them that our men are well-preserved gentlemen (like the old days), whatever liberal views or cultural influences we have. Cheers!

Choco Chip Cookies
I know my cookies are not that perfect, compared from her cookies, but after this experience, I really learned a lot.
~ Choco chip Cookies by feLiz ~
..... and yes I took notes again hahaha!
I guess I need to add more choco chips and scoop the batter properly in the cookie sheet haha! But the cookie itself is delish! Crunchy outside and moist on the inside. Loving it. Thanks Ms. Casa =)
PS:
Need to post pictures with high resolution right? LOL

Milk and Oatmeal Cookes
This is my second attempt to create cookies and the recipe I used here was from the FOOD magazine I got yesterday at the mall. It's one of the two back-issue magazines (my first food related mag) and I can't stop scanning the pages back and forth. Since it's my day-off, I decided to make MILK and OATMEAL COOKIES, dotting on the story that it's healthy.
~ Milk and Oatmeal Cookies by feLiz ~
It is healthy because part from the flour ingredient was replaced with milk BUT!, it's waaaay tooo SWEET! I really cannot recommend this to the kiddo, especially the hubby, but they loved it of course. So I've altered the ingredient measurements on my notes (Yes I keep a notebook!)... So next time I'll be making these babies, I'll reduce the sugar and put more (MORE) rolled-oats!

Capital P
I've finished the IT for our family next week and we're all excited about it. The kiddo doesn't know about it so it's gonna be a big big surprise for her. I've arranged the same accommodation when we went there 2 years ago and my friend still recommends it. And besides, it's the cheapest there is. It's not the hotel/motel with a fancy
outdoor garden fountains, but they have a small car garage with a provincial feel and that's what we need. Some time away from the noisy and busy streets of the Manila. So where are we going? Try to guess. Starts with the Capital P.

First attempt
Finally got the chance to shop at Chocolate lovers in P.Tuazon. Actually it was my first time on that branch because I usually my shopping near the Welcome rotonda branch, but that store is already closed. It's the hubby's first time there and man it was hard for him! He's like a kid and kids are NOT allowed inside! hahaha! He went out for a few minutes and went back inside when he was able to contain himself.
~ Shopping loot! ~
So here's my first attempt, for this year that it because I've done this before when I went to Baking 101 class at Heny Sison. The baking class is quite pricey for just a few hours of the day, but it was all worth it!
~ Butter loaf and cupcakes ~
I did a few tweaks on the baking time because I don't want it burned cupcakes. I failed on the frosting part because I put it while the cupcakes were still warm.... and it's butter frosting! Sorry na. Besides, I don't have any formal training on frostings yet and I'm dying to go back to Heny Sison's classes. For now, internet research is all I have.

One click away
The hubby just finished his second course in Welding and will be taking the third course this month. They don't do the usually reporting in the course because it's all practical and hands-on. Back in the old days (not so long ago!), when I was still studying, making reports was a big headache. With the technology now, like
inetsoft.com for a reporting engine, I didn't even think I would have done it with the primitive approach hahaha. Kids today are lucky because life is easier and everything seems to be just one mouse click away.
