I dropped by the local media store and saw new flash drive displayed and wow, they have then on 8G and 16G already and the price are not bad at all. Going back to 2-3 years ago, the only flash drives available in the market were 128MB and 512MB. It's amazing how technology grows so fast. The possibilities are endless. I'm thinking of getting the 8G portable drive.
We've been doing a lot of re-decorating these days because the holiday season is fast approaching. We plan to move the sofa set again to give way for the Christmas tree. And speaking of Christmas tree, it's tradition here to put the Christmas tree up right after Halloween day but I haven't done it yet. Maybe I'm too busy and I'll sure find time next time though. What I'm thinking about right now is to get another bell tv for the living room. Because the television there is quite old and the pictures does not look pleasing anymore. Credit card? Hmm.. let me think first.
We plan to renovate the house before the holidays comes. We temporarily moved to the other bed room so we can have the floor renovate on the other room. I like to put on some a light shade of square tiles because it's much easier to clean and it'll make the room brighter. FIL is also thinking of getting new modern furniture for the house. Furnitures here are old and dusty and I agree that it's time to replace them.
I'm so busy catching up with work and my tasks online that I hard had time to sleep. I sometimes fail to do my everyday work-out. But what bothers me is that I hardly get some rest everyday. My friend is beginning to notice my eye bugs are getting bigger and bigger everyday. I might as well look for a good eye cream or else I'll be another thing to worry about later on. But still--I know-- sleep is still the best.
I remember when we went to Davao few week ago, my sister and her husband kept getting calls and calling number of people just to get their projects going. One time, my BIL's voice as so loud we could hear everything he's saying. The weird part was, we can understand the terminologies he's using. All I understand was safety products, pvc and stuff like that. There was even a time when I woke up because of his loud phone calls. It's okay because it was funny.
I was drunk, tired and happy that night. And I slept super late, like I didn't care that we had an early flight the next day. Thanks to Joey's family for the warm accommodation.
~ have work tomorrow morning ~ have meeting to attend in the afternoon ~ have kiddie party on Sunday ~ need to upload tons of videos ~ need to post backlog entries ~ need to SLEEP.
I guess I can say MMA is on the right track these days. Band rehearsal yesterday and it was great! Originals are keep getting better and better every time we play it. And of course, we jammed a new song too. Hopefully we can include it on the demo soon. Then there's another good news. My BIL hooked us up with gigs this coming months. And our first will be this Oct. 31 at the Megatrade hall - Cosplay event. Woah. I can't wait. Thanks to BIL. More gigs to come! For now, I really REALLY need to sleep.
I've been getting a lot of good feedback lately that I trimmed down again. I had to admit that I'm not taking any diet pills anymore. The weight I lost was pure hard work and dedication. My goal is to achieve 120lbs by December or by early next year. But I might have a hard time slimming down this coming December because you know how it is during the Holidays. I have to think positive. I can do this. I hope.
Been so busy lately because of work and the band. I hardly update my sites and I got tons of videos to upload. Hopefully I could finish them before the weekend because I have meeting and a kiddie party to attend to. Now I'm thinking of starting my own business so I could clear myself from being a corporate slave. I partner up with my sister and maybe we can get some business plan consultants advise. Looking forward on planning this, hopefully we can start by next year.
We had a little team meeting the other day in the office and our manager suggested that we take up a short course in networking. We all agreed that he's right. There are a lot of advantages if we have networking certification in our resume. First, we can apply for high position which means high pay and second, more opportunities abroad. I have no problems going back to school. What I'm worried about is time management. I have a family to take care of and a little 3-year old whose also going to school. I was advised to check LSAT prep, so I could study while at home.
I was drunk and tired from the gig the night before that's why I had a slight headache when I woke up the next day. Joey's mom prepare a light breakfast for us. Coffee! Coffee! and then we hit the road.
First, we went to The Philippine Eagle Center in Malagos. Joey, Papsie and me waited outside while others made their way inside. We already went there last year, so we just chatted in the cafe' area. How can I forget? The smell of Durian was irritating because a group of people were eating lunch and had durian for dessert. Tsk.
Everybody's already hungry after that but we decided that we eat at Paradise Island. Tiis gutom muna. But before that, we bought fresh milk and fruits for pasalubong. More pictures *here*
~ At last! We're going to the beach! ~
~ We're here! Paradise Island. ~
We paid Php250 for an overnight stay at the beach. We hurried and changed to our swim wears, ordered food, took more pictures with the beautiful sunset.
Ac and I wore the same swimming top! We were both surprised and laughed it off. I can't deny the fact that we think the same sometimes. Maybe that's why we're friends --share the same passion for Music, loves cake, chocolates, movies, boys?! hahahaha!
I had 3 long island ice tea that night because I didn't want a big tummy from beer when I sleep. Besides, the air was cold and I need the heat from my drink. I crashed around 2am and got up at 5am because I didn't want to miss the sunrise the next day...
While doing my online tasks, I asked the kiddo to play where I could see her. She wore her silver cinderella shoes and said...
Kiddo: Mom, I need to go. I'm going to the ball. Mom: Okay, hurry back before 12. Kiddo: Okay, bye!
After a minutes... She hurried back jumping.
Kiddo: I'm back! The prince is here mom! Mom: Where? Kiddo: He's outside parking the horse. Mom: Okay. What's his name? Kiddo: King Dominic, and I'm going to marry him. Mom: WHAT?!
I got up early, took a bath and gathered my things for our Davao trip. Excited? YES!
We took the 7:55am flight to Davao via Cebu Pacific, but unfortunately the flight was delayed one hour. It's was okay because we're still on schedule.
~ Waiting at the airport. ~
We arrived in Davao around noon time and our stomach's already complaining. Joey had a little car trouble but it was fixed after an hour. We went to ate Olga's place to eat. That was already around 2pm.
~ Late lunch was worth it. Food was great! ~
We went to back Joey's place after that. We bought fruits from the local fruit stall as requested by Papsie. Then bought last minute Things-To-buy in the supermarket before we head home again. Joey, moi and Papsie went to the airport to fetch AC around 7:30pm.
Gig started late because of technical problems but everything went well except for our set hahaha. See more pictures *here*
~ One more shot before the gig. Joey was obviously excited in the background. ~
I don't have gig shots here with me because my sister used her cam that night. Hopefully, I get the pictures this week. More to come.
I'm back! Just finished uploading pictures from my cam but still more to go from my sister's cam. We did enjoy our GIG slash Vacation pero super bitin! We plan to go back there next year -- tagal! Will post updates soon.
