Update list
I don't want to elaborate on what had happened last Saturday because I'm not in the mood right now. Maybe because a text message took my mood away. Anyway, I just made a list on what's happening lately...
1: Did not report to work for 2 days (Sat/Sun) because of the weather.
2: Electricity was out too for 2 days.
3: I'm now officially a morning-shifter starting today (4am-1pm).
4: Internet was restored today.
5: House help almost went home today. Good thing, we had clear things up.
6: I bought a swim suit - top only. Weird.
7: I changed the pictures on the Flickr badge and I loved it.
8: I replaced the old chat box with cbox because the old one is no good.
9: Marry Me Amy's Davao gig. We'll fly there on Thursday.
10: I need to finish online tasks today because I know I don't have time tomorrow.
11: I still need to finalize what I'm going to bring to Davao. Argh. I hate packing!
12. MMA's myspace - pending. I hope I can start on it soon.
That reminds me to bring my Custom flash drive. I think I'm going to need it during the trip.

Quickie updates
I can't believe I don't have time to put real updates on this site. Paid ops sometimes goes out of hand that I miss the real reason why I put up this blog. Anyway, MMA had rehearsal last Thursday for our Davao gig. We've gonna do couple of cover and original songs and I hope it's enough for the night. We'll stay there for 4 days (Oct.1-4) including overnight stay at Paradise Island. Oh I can't wait! Anyway, I still need to pack my things and buy pad lock for my guitar. Then I asked AC the myspace account password because I plan to update the site as well, for MMA. Haven't started anything though. And oh I got 2 friends who joined world of blogging because of me, and one of which I helped put up a domain. I think that's all for now. Need to day dream until I fall asleep.

WWW
I've been trying to look for a friend's contact information for couple of months already. It's like this person has been hiding for the past 10 years haha. Okay I'm exaggerating. Well, I got her information with me, thanks to the world wide web and the free directories online. I can't imagine how people live without the Internet. I myself can't live without it. I feel I'm shut down from the world if I'm not connected. Anyway, besides my small business online, I also get to talk and see relatives and friends with one click of a mouse.

Good book
My sister S gave me books when she had her vacation early this year. She bought it in the airport and was suppose to read it during her flight but I guess she just slept. It's one of the Shopaholic collection books that area famous these days. I haven't read one yet. I just watched the movie and it was good. Anyway, I decided to bring it along with me since I have a longest travel time when going to work and going home. I was immediately hooked. I liked the story. Now I've finished the book and imagining that Jack Harper was with me too hahaha. Wish. Anyway, it's good book.

What do you think?
I can't understand it. A friend showed couple of pictures from last year and he said, I looked thinner before. I can't really digest that information because I'm really sure that I was bigger last year. Maybe because of the shirt I wore that day? Maybe. But I don't wear those jeans anymore because they're big already. Or maybe is the weight loss pill I was taking. Probably. Something tells me, I should take those pills again, don't you think?

MMA
MMA had another rehearsal last Thursday. We did cover songs for our Davao concert. It's good to play the old songs what we used to play but it's never the same when playing our originals. We might do another jam session on Wednesday. I can't wait!

Snicker sale
AC told me about this Snicker Sale last week and we're both very excited to check it out. I've heard they're offering 40% to 50% off on branded ones. I'm dreaming of getting myself a VANS or a Naot shoes. Unfortunately, we did not had a chance because of our schedule differences. But we're not loosing hope. Christmas is fast approaching and we know there's more snicker sale coming our way.

Papsie's Birthday
We spend Papsie's birthday at my sister's place in LP last Sept. 7. We had lots of food and we listened to piano pieces after, but I doze off minutes later because I had no sleep the night before. More pictures *here*

blogging blues
I can't believe I've been blogging for the last 4 years. It never came to me that I'd do this more seriously. I just started to blog with the help of my friends because I told them that I wanted to document my journey through motherhood. Then a year later, I was already earning and got serious about the whole idea. Pictures are still the number one media that I post on my entries. I've checked my online backup and I really have a lot of files that I need to keep.

Papsie's Birthday Jam
It's my dad's birthday and we had a birthday jam last Sunday - Sept. 6 - with his friends. The air was filled with 60's music such as The Ventures, The Shadows, Eagles and our very own - Electromaniacs. I jammed with them pero konti lang hahaha. Bazaar
I talked to my MIL yesterday via voice-chat. She's was asking how the little angel was doing and unfortunately, she'd kinda sick but of course, getting better because of the meds. I asked the MIL how were the goods are coming. I asked her to buy baby stuff for infants up to 5 years old, because we'll sell it again this coming Bazaar on December. I'm kind of excited about it. I asked the MIL to buy more stuff including toys and adults sleep wear as well. She might ship it on shipping boxes this October because the package needs to be here on the first week of December. Bazaar event, here we come!

No rain
It has been raining the last few days. I don't really hate the rain, I mean, I love the rain when I'm at home all snuggle up my bed and watching a good movie with a popcorn on my side. But if I'm going out? I don't like it. First, it's kind of hassle to commute when it's raining; Second: I don't an umbrella with. Never and third: I don't like my feet to get wet. That reminds me, our outdoor chairs got soaked from the rain the other day and I'm concern that the paint would not last that long. So since it's my work week this week, I'd say to No Rain for now.

Diet double time
Our Davao trip is just less than 2 weeks from now and I'm in panic mode on my diet routine. I was able to use the treadmill the past few days but I've been busy lately that I missed to use it again. Not to mention the lack of sleep and less Internet time. I might get a new bathing suit next week but for now, I need to cut down more carbs double time. My friend told me to just buy diet pills and get it over with. I hope she's right.

Three more songs!
We just finished 3 more MMA songs this morning. The pressure was up when we can't do the first song right. Maybe it's Dimsum HongKong noodles? Yeah I blamed it on the snack we had before recording. Joey said, we should have took shots (alcohol) instead and I agree! hahaha! next time! next time! LOL. We still have 4 more songs to record and 2 of which is A-OK for recording and the last 2 still needs some attention. We plan to record again next week -- excitement! Anyway, I already uploaded the songs on the MMA playlist in multiply and I hope you can take time and listen--and drop us a comment too.

SOS 3rd Year Anniversary
Hubby and I attended the SOS (Sniper Owners Society) 3rd Year Anniversary. It's his club's anniversary which was held at the Atrium Hotel last 9.04.09. It was a fun fun night! SOS ladies did a Nobody dance number which was hilarious! Yes, I'm one of them them! hahahaha!

Gift ideas
It's already the month of September and I want to be prepared for the coming holidays compared from last year. I've prepared a small notebook and took notes on what to buy and to whom I should give it to. And I'm getting all excited already by just checking my list. I got towel wraps, terry towel wrap, personalized duffle bag and many more on my list. I might browse some more these coming weekend because I still need to check gift ideas for kids too.

Leaving work
Lately, I've been thinking of getting another job. I know the pay is good but my personal and family quality time is greatly affected because I need to go to work even on weekends and not to mention the irregular shifting I had to cope up with. And leaving my current work made me think of all the benefits that I'll be giving up, including the medical benefits and the life insurance which cover a big term life insurance rate. I'm still in the process of deciding. But just in case I leave my work now, I might find a new job with a stable and fix office hours.

Insulated lunch tote
One of the hardest duties of a mom is the kitchen responsibilities. Sometimes is very hard to come up with unique meals. And to add to that, I need to prepare food for them to bring at work and school. And I've been trying so hard and so far I didn't receive any complains - so that's good. I'm planning to buy a lunch for the kiddo but I'm torn between insulated lunch tote or the toddler backpack, but one thing I'm sure about is that I'll definitely include nap mats in it everyday.

ONCE
My sister suggested me to watch this film and when I did, I instantly fell in love with the characters and the soundtrack of the film. The two main character are musicians in real life and they are very good. One of my favorite part was when they jam for the first time in a local music store... uhmmm.. better see the film.
An (unnamed) Guy is a Dublin guitarist/singer-songwriter who makes a living by fixing vacuum cleaners in his Dad's Hoover repair shop by day, and singing and playing for money on the Dublin streets by night. An (unnamed) Girl is a Czech who plays piano when she gets a chance, and does odd jobs by day and takes care of her mom and her daughter by night. Guy meets Girl, and they get to know each other as the Girl helps the Guy to put together a demo disc that he can take to London in hope of landing a music contract. During the same several day period, the Guy and the Girl work through their past loves, and reveal their budding love for one another, through their songs. SOURCE

What to wear?
Me and the hubby will attend a anniversary party tomorrow night and I'm having trouble again on what to wear. It's just one of those days we I feel all nervous and all. And the panic continues when I've decided what to wear and then realize that I don't have shoes to go with it. Perfect right? How I wish I'd bought that lovely formal wedge shoes from Dansko so I would not feel like this. It's like everything is so not perfect. Argh I hate making rush decisions. I hope I can pull this through tomorrow. Better come on my lucky stars.

Quick update
It's our dad's Birthday on Monday and just few minutes ago, he sent us his wish list for his birthday. The list includes couple of things he needs, like for the car and his medicines. I've decided to buy him the weight loss pills his doctor prescribe him last month. I've tried it myself and it really worked for me. We plan to celebrate his birthday on Sunday with a Bang! It's going to be a day full of music and friends again. I'm excited! And on Monday, which is exactly his birthday -- we'll probably have dinner out at Rockwell with whole family. I can't wait.
