I know it' super late and I'm still awake and blogging. We just arrived home from the hubby's EB group. They were all talking about the up coming 3 year anniversary of the group. Even I was hooked up on the planning and surprises in store for the event. It's nice to say that I got new circle of friends. Even though the girls don't ride the motor cycle that much, like the guys, we still get to create our own group. I wonder if get involve in motorhome towing... nah! I think this would do for now.
I've been playing this song for weeks and I can't get it out of my head. The tune and the lyrics is simply - classic. Sing with me....
As around the sun the earth knows she's revolving And the rosebuds know to bloom in early may Just as hate knows love's the cure You can rest your mind assure That I'll be loving you always
As now can't reveal the mystery of tomorrow But in passing will grow older every day Just as all is born is new Do you know what I say is true That I'll be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky Until the ocean covers every mountain high Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4 Until the day is the day that are no more
Did you know that true love asks for nothing Her acceptance is the way we pay Did you know that life has given love a guarantee To last through forever and another day
As today I know I'm living but tomorrow Could make me the past But that I mustn't fear I know deep in my mind The love of me I've left behind Cause I'll be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky Until the ocean covers every mountain high Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea Until we dream of live and live becomes a dream Until the day is night and night becomes the day Until the trees and seas just up and fly away Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4 Until the day that is the day that are no more
Did you know that true love asks for nothing Her acceptance is the way we pay Did you know that life has given love a guarantee To last through forever and another day
As around the sun the earth knows she's revolving And the rosebuds know to bloom in early may For now I know deep in my mind The love of me I've left behind Cause I'll be loving you always
Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky Until the ocean covers every mountain high Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea Until we dream of live and live becomes a dream
Until the day is night and night becomes the day Until the trees and seas just up and fly away Until the day that 8x8x8 is 4 Until the day that is the day that are no more
I was completely decided to have my hair-cut few weeks back and it was just last Friday when I had the time to go to Tony & Jackey Salon at SM Annex with my sister. Stylist there are Koreans and they are very friendly. I got the hair cut I wanted for only Php 300.
Then we went to a birthday party that night at Inggo's Grill till the wee hours!
~ Rock on! ~
Call me vain but I had to take pictures just to see what it looks like from the side LOL!
My sister gave me a audio book copy of this novel last year but I never get to finish it. Now, it's a movie! I wish I could find time to finish the novel too.
The Time Travelers Wife is based on the best-selling book about a love that transcends time. Clare (Rachel McAdams) has been in love with Henry (Eric Bana) her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated: Henry is a time traveler—cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting time line, skipping back and forth through his lifespan with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.
My 2-day-off from work just pass and I say, I had a pretty good time off. It's enough to focus on what I want to do and pamper myself and not think about anything. I'm pretty much satisfied now and I'm feeling good about myself more. So here's what I did...

I just book us a flight to Davao this coming October and I can't wait! I know summer is over but it's never over for me. Actually this is my first beach trip this year and I plan to visit more in the next couple of months. And when I hear myself saying 'beach' - the word rings a bell with a high pitch in my ear. Because that means, I really really REALLY need to step on the treadmill. Good thing we have a mini home gyms here that I could use. I just need more time and effort to start my exercise routine. I can do this! I can do this! I got four more weeks to go.
Last August 7, 2009 - we attended a Naffnung event featuring You're the 1, Goldilocks blog contest. This is my first time to attend an event and it's nice to see bloggers in person hehehe. Anyway, the event went well. We had lots of freebies including this design your own cake. I never really put effort on the cake because I felt like a winner just receiving the cake.
~ Under the sea design. Well, sort of. ~
It's also nice to see the super friends together in one shot again. Well, Ruthie didn't make it. I miss her! I know we have a lot of news and stories to catch up so I hope there better be a movie session coming soon.
Summer passed that I did not get the chance to hit the beach. I really sucks especially for a beach person like me. Time flies so fast that I felt like I missed summer. Family, work and my hobby has been my first priority so I can't really complain. I'm just thinking that about the past summer that I missed and all the fat burner routines I did before summer makes me want to continue it because I got news that we are finally off to Davao in two months. I guess summer is not over.
One thing I noticed with the Little Angel, is that she knows what she wants. She knows what to wear on every occasion and all that jazz. Then I noticed her hair is longer that the usual so I asked her if she wants a hair cut. Denied at first but after further explanation, she approved. I was already thinking of the 'bangs' thing but I was hesitant. I showed her a picture from the magz with a girl with a full bangs and agreed. Walla! It turned out A-OK! BTW, this is her 3rd hair cut since birth.
I love end of the world disaster movies like Independence day and Day after tomorrow to name a few so there's no reason for me to not to watch this. I'm counting the days already.
An academic researcher leads a group of people in a fight to counteract the apocalyptic events that were predicted by the ancient Mayan calendar and other historical documents, astronomy, biblical and scientific data. It involves the passage of the Age of Pieces into the Age of Aquarius. It also involves the Destroyer, aka Wormwood, Planet X, Nibiru. SOURCE
I always dream of what would be the cars in the future. Would it be flying cars just like in the movie: Back of the Future, or an environmental-friendly useful cars where inventors and scientists uses performance chip that would make the car performance even accelerate than the cars that we have now. Like I said, it's environmental-friendly car so it's going to use Electronic Supercharger and not the regular gasoline. Hmmm, I wonder what would be the future cars.
One of the super friends asked me where we stayed in Palawan last February of this year because she is planning to go there with some of her office mates. So my first recommendation was the hotel we stayed which is "Pagdayon". It's very clean there, quiet--great for relaxing and most of all--it's cheaper than the other hotels in that area. My first impression of the place was it's like a home away from home, but they have the same services as the other hotels have. Like the rooms include nap mat, laundry bag, towel wrap and many more. If I'm going to go back to Palawan, I will definitely stay there again.
Whenever weekend comes, it always reminded me of the vacation we missed last month. We were suppose to go to Caramoan with my friends. It’s a 3 day and 2 nights trip with nothing to do but camp beside the beach side and go island hopping during the day. We still plan to go there of course, but we really need to arrange our schedules since we are already employed from different employers. My sister also suggested that we go somewhere like Europe or take Gatlinburg vacations. Taking that trip will be a dream come true for me but as my sister said, nothing is impossible. Wow! I’m inspired!
The video below was taken last July 27, 2009 at Gig studio before the Blaster's Studio Battle of the Bands on that same day. The event was held at Router 196, Katipunan extension.
CENTIDO - POLBAX on vox.... RANDELLICA on lead, YEAH2 on rhythm, LIZZZ on bass and ODING on drums. More pic *here*
Happiness was all around last Saturday because MMA finally had the chance to rehearse after a month. It really felt good to be with the guys and do what we like the most. We did not mind AC being four hours late that day haha! And oh! I gave her a limited edition Starbucks tumbler (just like mine). Being a coffee-addict like me, I know she's going to like it and she did. I know there's no occasion or anything but giving does not need a special day -- an ordinary day will do.
Another reason to be happy about was that my wedge shoes finally arrived. Yes! After two months of waiting and waiting and waiting -- it's finally here. I got fed up on getting boots for myself so I tried to get a different pair this time and I picked a heeled wedge style. The heels bothered me at first but when I tried it on, it's like-- not wearing heels at all haha. These shoes are so comfortable and great with mini-skirts and plaids.
But happiness is not over.. yet! Me and the super friends are planning to attend the Goldilocks Nuffnang events this Friday at Bonifacio High Street. I can't wait! I haven't seen them after our Hong Kong trip last March and it's time to re-unite. Looking forward to another memorable day with my friends. Yey!
Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa's District 9 as the world's nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9. SOURCE
I'm not a gamer ever since the first game console came out in the market. I never really did spend time in front of the computer even at the height of game console popularity. I think only I did played and enjoyed was the cheap tetris game or 'Brick game' as they call it. I imagine myself playing that game right now haha. But the word brick game brings a lot of memories. But today's generation of gaming console really changed. From the simple playstation, playstation 2-- came the portable playstation (PSP) and the famous Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii and many more. Even though I'm not a gamer myself, I love to watch others play.
