I've been experimenting the bumble bee this afternoon so I could easily navigate just in case shooting action comes, and I super love the panorama feature. Wide lens really helped a lot and the stitching action is excellent. If you get to shoot 3 perfect shots, it'll look like you're really there when the images are stitched together. Happiness! I've mentioned from my previous post... "OMG! I'm so ready for Caramoan!" Yeah! I can't wait to shoot beautiful and breath taking views there. That reminds me. I need to work out harder and always take my Lipovox, so I'll these fats fast!
At last! I have a new cam and we bought it last Sunday after watching Transformers 2. I was suppose to get the Sony but they don't have the model I want anymore. The reason why I want a specific model from Sony is because I'll be getting the marine pack as well. Argh! So I went back to Olympus. So meet our latest member of the family... Bumble Bee!
~ Tough - 6000 ~
This cam is better than my old one because of some added features like the tap control to which I'm super aliw... it's already 10 mega pixel... and I super super love the panorama option. From my old cam, you can't use the panorama feature if you're not using the original Olympus XD memory card with panorama option. Then I have to manually take random shots and need to upload it on the computer and use their software to stitch the images. But now, it's easier because there's an indicator when shooting random images and when finished, the cam will stitch is for you right then and there! Okay, here's a test image below... neat huh!
Here's another up coming movie that all kids will enjoy.
Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), and the rest of their toy box friends are dumped in a children's day-care center when their owner, Andy (now a young adult) departs for college.Source
I have the original Twilight DVD and the Edward action figure at home -- care of my sister hehehe! I'm just borrowing it from her. I'll give it back... I pwomisssseee... =B
I got this from Ruth's page and I can't help it! I have to post this too on my site tsk tsk! I can feel the New Moon excitement as November approaches. This new New Moon book cover brings more life to the story. I love it! I don't have the Twilight Saga books and I still don't have plans to buy the set (yet). I plan to buy the director's notebook but I'm still waiting for the price to go down hahaha -- kuripot! For now, I'm loving the thrill of waiting for the movie to come out.
LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the "King of Pop" and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.
Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.
The circumstances of Jackson's death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.
Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.
His 1982 album "Thriller" — which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.
The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There."
He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.
"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced "Thriller." "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him." More HERE
We agreed to watch Transformers after shift but when we got Eastwood cinema, best seats taken! What can I say? Today's the first day of showing. I'm sure there are lots of people out there who wants to be the first one to watch the movie. Oh well, better plan our visit or maybe buy tickets ahead of time. Good thing, hubby and I are still going to watch this Sunday -- can't wait!
Here's one of Centido's jam session at GIG Studio in Cubao. CENTIDO - Paul aka "polbax" on vocals... Yeah aka "Pepe Smith" on rhythm... Randel aka "payat" on Lead... Liz aka "lisettah" on bass... and Noel aka "little drummer boy" on drums. Rock en roll folks!
The little kiddo is currently enjoying her time in school. She always tell me stories on what they did in class and of course, every mom is always excited to hear those stories. I realized that we need to celebrate her next birthday in school. I'm already planning on what food to bring and what treat to give away. I've been searching on the Internet lately and I found personalized children's plates would be a great idea for kids to use and toddler backpacks and ezy roller would also be a treat to her classmates.
My friend and I talked about shifting to a new career. I told her that I would love to but I don't really have the time to study anymore. My family has been my first priority plus my music career is slowly blooming in the scene. My friend is bragging on jobs like medical assistant. She said, medical assistants mostly get high pay checks especially abroad. I'm still thinking about it though, but being a medical assistant to me is not going to happen in the next fer years. I hope she can pursue this new career she's planning.
Here's another film that we're waiting to come out so we can go watch with the little kiddo.

The team takes on a mission for the US government to stop evil billionaire Leonard Saber, who plans to destroy the world with household appliances. Before they can accomplish their mission, the government shuts them down and they are sentenced to a pet shop. Darwin, Juarez, Blaster, Speckles, Mooch, and their new friends Hurley (Jon Favreau) and hamster Bucky (Steve Buscemi) must escape the cage to defeat the villain, stop his threat, and save the world. A vampire named Saya, who is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon is disguise.
Argh! It's raining again! To be honest, I never really liked the rain especially if I'm going out like today. I need to bring the kiddo to school and back, then I'll be off to work. Oh I hope there's no rain tomorrow because we'll have band rehearsals in the morning and I'll be bringing my guitar. I said I never like the rain but only if I'm going out. I like a little drizzle especially in the morning because it makes me wanna stay in bed and cuddle up. But for now, it's rain rain go away...
I had to experiment on the laptop's cam one morning since I don't have any digicam at hand right now. The laptop cam will be my means of capturing moments--temporarily. I was goofing around when my daughter joined me.
What a Monday! I know this is not me but I started the week right. I woke up early, had breakfast, brought the little kiddo to school, went to SM and bought groceries, went back to school to fetch the little kiddo, then we went to SM to have lunch, and we stroll to buy some stuff and lastly we ate rocky rock ice cream. Whew! We went home around 4pm and took a nap. Then I changed into my running gear ran for 62 minutes in the treadmill. I wanted to walk some more but I don't want to over do it. We ate dinner when the husband arrived then I took a bath. Now it's Internet time, I felt I've done so much today. I hope I could continue this healthy routine till the end of the month.
We received bad news from our friend abroad the other day. He had a motorcycle accident but thank goodness no one was hurt badly because our friend was wearing safety gear at that time which protected his head and arms from severe inquiry. All he got was bumps ad bruises. Now, the other person who owns the car wants to sue him. It's a big hassle for our friend since he does'nt have that much money to spend on San Jose motorcycle accident attorney. We advised that he still continue with the case and defend himself. We promised him that we'll include him in our prayers.
Movie date is set with my sister. We are just waiting for the movie to come out and we plan to watch "The Proposal". Can't wait!
Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Colden Books, who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He grudgingly accepts in order to get the position of editor within the company. When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie, but start to fall genuinely in love as they spend time together. SOURCE
My friend and I were talking the other day on what business to put up just in case we need to. Well, we are planning to but in case an opportunity comes, we'll grab it. My sister will continue her stall at the up coming bazaar this December and we plan to offer some partnership so we could test the new business we were thinking. My sister is also thinking of new items to sell, like kids backpacks, laundry bag and baby memory books. Hope we could come up with more goods to sell.
This is one of our latest MMA rehearsals at home. Amy and I did not expect to wear to the same color shirt that day. Good thing, Joey insisted to have our pictures taken. I'm loving the color combination on this photo. I think our cheeks were even pink-ish too, because it was hot that afternoon. Oh well... Love the bass! Love the bangs! LOL and Love the band!
Anyway, MMA rehearsal again later at 10AM and I can't wait!
I called my sister early this afternoon to check how she was. I asked when can we have our movie time together and she said that she's available next week or the week after that. She's busy with her latest swimming pool project in Pampaga. And she was even on her way there to the site while we were talking on the phone. She mentioned to me to check out different patio furniture so they'll have plenty of choices. I emailed her the designs and ideas already, and I wonder how it feels to an Architect.
When I came in the office yesterday, everyone was gloomy and a little bit annoyed. It's a long weekend for us here and although it's double pay, everyone was expecting to receive our pay on Monday. But everyone was surprised to know that our pay came in yesterday afternoon. Even I was stoked because I was not expecting it too. Good thing it came in because I had so many things to settle like pay the bills, little angel's school needs, and visit the grocery store. Me and little angel always enjoy the grocery time because it's our time to bond. She is usually amazed on how thebarcode scanner scans the item and makes a beep sound noise. After the grocery time, we usually end up eating our on our favorite food chain.
We are recently bothered by the little kiddo's teeth. This is the stage where we struggle to remove a habit that she had known since birth. Yes, she stills drink from the bottle, one in the morning and one at night. We are still in the process of removing this habit but it's complicated at times. Now we are worried that her teeth would melt because of the constant milk drinking in the bottle. I wish we could bring her to a Frisco Dentist and have it examined so we can take precautions. But I never fail to remind her that she needs to brush her teeth in the morning and before going to sleep at night.
I remembered we had our family picture taken when my mother in law came home from the States. It was the first time that the kiddo to meet her grand mother and it was scene to remember. We even had a family trip in Palawan for 3 days and it was totally an adventure. We suggested for family picture since it's our chance to document her stay. My sister even made a layout of the pictures and that reminds me to have it put up on a frame for the living room. I need more compact flash cards because my friend borrowed and never returned it. The husband is also looking for another one. I might drop by at the local mall tomorrow to purchase one so I could have the photo printed.
I'm still sad about what happened to my digital camera. Unfortunately, I canceled the repair order because of the revised quotation. The repair fee is too high that I can buy a new digital camera. I still bad about it because I did not expect it to happen. Oh well, things happen and besides it's sister and I don't want to be selfish with her. Moving on, I'm checking on some potential digital camera that I like. I plan to purchase a Sony brand and I still want the underwater cam too. But that will have to wait. I have a couple of events to attend this coming July and I need one badly. I've started using the treadmill too so I can look good hahaha. Not to mention the diet pills I'm taking to slim down fast in time for the event. I hope I could my digital camera by the end of the month.
This is what me and the little angel had for breakfast. Mc Arabia. C/o sister gelai from Dubai. This treat is surprisingly delicious... We loved it! It consist of two beef patty with tomato and veggies sandwiched in a big soft pita bread. Best served hot.
It was almost 10 years ago when I had a date in Goldilocks. My date loved to eat there because of the fresh food they serve. When classes are over in the afternoon, we always find time to dine in our favorite meryenda hang-out. And we loved to order the fresh lumpia partnered with sago't gulaman. And sometimes we would include mais con yelo wherein we share it over while we tell stories to each other. You're the 1, Goldilocks because my date back then is now my beloved husband where we are blessed with a 3 year old daughter. Time surely pass by so fast but we still look back to the moment where we had our first date which now bloomed unconditionally.
At last, we have plans for our beach get away this coming July and I am scouting for a decent, slick and sexy swim wear. I found one at Chris sports shop at the Mall of Asia and I plan to get a brown or a black bathing suit because I already have light blue, pink and apply green. I wanted to be super sexy this time hahaha. So yesterday I started to use the treadmill again and it felt really good to be running again. I plan to do this routine plus get the top weight loss pills out there so I could have the figure I wanted in time for the beach get away.
It was rehearsal day yesterday. We had to rent a studio in Cubao because LP spiderboi requested for it and it's also convenient for me because I had to go to work at 2pm. A.vox and J.drummer was the first ones to arrived at the site. I was suppose to be early but it was so traffic that morning. Then LP spiderboi arrived late so we had to move the jam rehearsal from 10am to 11am. Good thing, my work place is just 5 mins away so I was not late. I was so sleepy when I reported for work but I was happy. The group has the looks (naks!) and the materials, all we need is gig experience. So next plan is: cover songs and book gigs. I think it's time for us to go out and make ourselves known to the public. This is it.
Long over due post. I had my hair cut about three weeks ago. This is my first hair cut in almost two years. After months and months of thinking, I finally got the courage to walk to a salon and asked the stylist to my long brown hair. But I was not satisfied with the first so I had visited another salon the following week. Anyway, my hair is much more manageable now and easy to pull in a pony. I'm still thinking about the highlights they suggested or maybe I'll treat it hot oil first. Oh well, still thinking about it. Any suggestions?
